The gestalt of the book is that keeping a schedule is king. I don't remember what it says about non-infants, but there's definitely good stuff in there, with some specifics about methods and duration that may prove helpful. We haven't really had the need to pick it up again since the cessation of sleep training.

I recommend the paleo child rearing method. £1m years of evolution can't be wrong.

One thing I find irritating about the n1h thread is "everyone is an expert" syndrome. I just have a hard time believing everyone posting advice, even the good kind, is some kind of expert pussy slayer anal creampie afficionado.. In fact, I'd wager a lot of the posters probably experience considerably less success with the opposite sex than the person they're advising. And those that do have a lot of success may not experience it because of what they say or how they act, like I harped on previously.

I'd further suggest that a lot of them, were they in his shoes, would manage to **** up even harder than he does, it's just that hot 30 something ex strippers with an anal submission fetish have never even come close to giving them explicit sexual invitations (not me, of course, this happens on an hourly basis because I am so hot and have such expert pua game and KONFIIIDDDAAANNCCCEEE)

That was fairly obvious when people were saying that his sexting was cringeworthy. They've probably just never sexted before; all sexting looking cringeworthy if you're not involved. The problem was the time he chose to do it.

Also when I mentioned that he gets a shotgun blast of advice any time he poses a problem I was laughed at, apparently people delude themselves into thinking all of the advice in that thread is the same and is good.

It's nice that he's finally gotten to the point where he realizes who is good at what area.
