im gonna play super hard once the league hits

just in 10 days i made a 45, 83 and 82 characters (had never played before)

also found 2 exalted orbs...

pretty hyped for the next league I hope lots of people on 2p2 will play

I'm really excited for the next league as well. This league was by far the wealthiest I got(which still is nowhere near that much, about ~10 ex worth of stuff).

Still have yet to get a 6L for any character yet though.

Wow. I started playing like 3 weeks ago, got a Spark/Arc witch to 40 something and kept dying repeatedly in A4, then at Jackito's suggestion I switched to a marauder ancestral warchief build and things went much more smoothly. There are a ton of learning resources out there, but even finding a good introduction on mechanics and an easy powerful build has been daunting. Any good youtube series anyone recommends for learning? I happened upon ziggyd's survival guide but it's not quite my speed or style.

How does the transition from essence league to normal work when it comes to stashes? Do I need to put everything I want taken to normal on one of my characters and the stuff in the essence league stash is lost?

Tabs are added to normal stash, additional tabs are simply remove only and there's no expiration date.

It's nice for me because I play mostly standard, but accumulate a bit of stuff in league, and my favorite time of year is league merges.

Gotcha. Some of the mechanics is just brute forcing bosses and pressing insta pots tho premaps.

the poe wiki-ish thing is extremely good

im still just as new as you but i understand almost everything about how bow characters work and what every ressources is worth, except whats good on wands and ****, lol.

Almost all stats can be good on wands. Just has to be right combo of stats. Wander makes use of physical damage and some other non-spell stats.

are there any good spark builds? i sort of like the voltaxic rift thing, but it seems too expensive for new league

Vaal spark/spark is good for farming Dried Lake in merciless but after that it isn't great because you kind of need a skill that kills bosses and clears trash in maps.

Pathfinder with the nerf on Crit strike filling up flasks.

Blade Vortex and facebreakers nerfs as well. Blade Furry looks fine still even after the nerf.

Love the idea of cyclone though with the melee range. Gotta see.

math says blade vortex hasnt even been nerfed lul

they barely touched the new best skill in the game (bladeflurry)

no buff to hp builds, barely any change to weaken ES builds.

No nerf to double dipping stuff like poison and ignites

Alright..

only thing i like are the buffs to raider which was reaaaally needed

Pretty torn on what to play. Chances of me reaching any "end" endgame game content is super low, so I guess it doesn't hugely matter anyway.

I'll probably just end up wasting my time starting half a dozen chars, bailing on them at level 60...

I think it's more that the stuff people like about the leagues don't really excite me. I do kind of enjoy starting again with nothing, but I find it wears thin after a while.

I still love the game, but enjoy focussing more on theorycrafting and pissing around with silly builds in standard where I've got a bunch of stuff to play around with.
