I packed Ozil and was going to sell him because he was such crap in '14. Decided to try him out for a few games. Night and day difference. He is incredible in '15.

Never played the ultimate team before... what's the best way of spending your coins? do you just save them up and buy packs until you have a decent squad? Then maybe go for the individuals that might be at a higher price on the market.

Any advice would be great.

The best way to go about is buy gold non rare team x2, so you can rotate them. Save up coins for the better rare players you want to try out. Also, there is a chemistry rating you should try and get which is 100. Which means try and play players from the same league usually the best way or a nation. Packs are expensive and its a big crap shoot. Might get an expensive player on the first pack you open or have to open 100 before you get him. Any more questions just ask.

Ya I'm fairly new to fifa too. Agree with above. Make two cheap teams. I currently have two Turkish too league teams with total cost like 9-10k or so. I play online with my best team and when they get to like 80 energy I play offline with my second team(the best team should have bench of second team and second team has best team on bench/reserves). This way you never need to buy fitness.

When buying players that are cheap look for ones with decent amount f contracts as they can be a decent expense you want to avoid. Always bid if you have time you can easily save like 15% on everyone this way.

Keep doing this strat I online and offline rotating and save up. Make sure you buy the coin bonuses in catalogue when you unlock them.

Trading is something I'm just getting into and has been fairly fruitful(in first 24 hours trading come from like 8k->12.5k) but takes some time and I only do it when I can't play.

You coul create two teams and rotate stayin online but I am trying to avoid getting a horrible record on there so I go offline with a much cheaper team then I would feel safe with online. You should pretty much be undefeated offline except maybe against ultimate difficulty if you are not great.

I do this until I can afford a huge switch to a decent team. You can get competitor teams for like 15k easily but I'm probably saving til like 40k

Since full release it's just got worse n worse for me, just forgetting about trying to go up divisions in fut now as I'm quitting matches because of horrific lag. Taking out the latency bar is beyond ******ed.
Playing online atm is totally different to in early access, hopefully they improve it soon.

Happy they have disabled Web app, it's so easy to make coins atm.

My mate was having this problem in the whole game then changed some settings on his router and it fixed the problem.

Don't use coins for packs if you can help it. Better of saving them and buying the players.
If you want a little boost you can buy points or if not then just build a cheap team that has 100 Chem (ideally with each player having 10 chem) and start making coins and slowly improving your team.
Play the tournaments earlier as they are the softer field generally as right now in seasons people are all over so lots of the best players are still in div 9 and 10 etc.

So what are good formations this time around?

Last year I had a lot of fun with formations with a really physical ST up front like Costa, but this year its seems really hard to score with headers. (Or is it just that heading stats matter more this year and I haven't played with anyone actually good at it yet?)

Right now I'm loving the 4-3-3 (2 I think)
2 cdms and a cm.
. Most games are huge goalfests so the extra cdms are very useful.

My 3 up top are reus ramos and Shakira. The ability to cut inside on their preferred foot and pace make it a pretty amazing formation Imo. Pretty much identical to the 4-2-3-1 but with wingers rather than right and left mids.

The lag is completely killing me. Defenders standing and watching as they get dribbled past, not reacting to rebounds at all, no one ever moves towards a pass. It seems to help very slightly if I switch to attacking and/or team pressing, but then I get slammed on the counter.

It's not the game skipping/pausing kind, just 2/3 games all my players are crazy sluggish. Tried the router fix from EA and it has no effect.

Any suggestions?

Edit: connection according to the PS4 is 15 Mbps up, 2 down if that matters.
