I think NLSoldier is up 400ish at this point? Or less? Maybe 200 more hands to go.

we are done I won like $150 bucks or something.

I think we need to rethink the structure...being in the position where you can fold your way to victory is incredibly lame for both parties imo. Maybe a higher number of hands but if at any point someone is up by 3x as many dollars as there are hands left to play (at which point they could fold to victory), the match ends and they win?

i agree that for future tournaments we need to somehow eliminate the 'folding to a win' dilemma

I live in Perth, Western Australia, so we will need to sort out time difference, but I am free (my time) all day Monday, Wednesday after midday, Thursday Morning/Afternoon until 3pm, Friday after midday, Saturday morning, and all day Sunday (assuming i'm not hungover).

edit: Craig and I played our sessions in the morning my time, which would be from about 6pm onwards your time (assuming you live in the States?), I can probably do Wednesday morning aswell but only if no other times fit. Do you have Skype? PM if you do

NLSoldier kinda has to be the fav you'd think, but with a reasonable price I think barewire is a pretty good pic...

i agree its lame but how could it ever be avoidable in something like this?

Well the problem w determined length in hands is the ICM effect, as the real effective stax decrease toward the end of the session. E.g. player A might have $500 and player B might have $600 while being 50 hands from the end of the session, but in fact they both risk only $150 or even less (in case one of them has a lead).

A way to make the late game play more interesting and less prone to folding into a win would be starting w low stakes and increasing them gradually during the match (e.g. play 750 hands in .25/.5, then 750 in .5/1 then 750 in 1/2 and then 750 in 2/4). Granted, it might not be the most fun to watch way, but it will make the early lead less valuable and the end play more important

More fun to watch: mandatory 3x 3b every hand for the last 100 hands?

eh, this would be cool but imposing a rule that directly affects how someone is allowed to play doesn't seem right to me

Well, it is equal to both participants, so its not like a huge edge on any one. But just a tough, i dont expect it to be implemented, but I think it would be awesome to watch.

Not a bad idea. Durrrr and Ziggy used to play 200/400 with this rule in place
