On a side note that french chick I mentioned a few months ago has some really hawt photos, trouble is some of her habits are just too annoying to even consider dating. Since I'm not even pursuing her anymore here are some lulzphotos as this thread has become a wall of text for some time.

Calling is obviously my standard line but in that case we had already established thursday wasn't going to work out and were already talking via text. I actually reread the convo with E from last night and I think it was simply an impossible spot-- our Thursday plan wasn't going to work and she was unavailable Sunday, and Tuesday through Friday. I am unavailable Monday. Since I've already put forth the effort three times to try and hang out with her, I thought it best to just tell her to call me if she wanted to try again when she was back in town. I have no problem with her just wanting to be friends (though we'd be an awesome couple) I just refuse to be that guy that doesn't get the memo.

Also, it's important to consider demographics here. I'm 21 and most of the girls I try to date will be 19-21. IMO, this is a lot different from the 24-26 range that Karak, LKJ, Goofy, etc. are prowling on. Girls my age don't expect to be called and frankly a lot of them don't have very good phone skills. I've talked to my female friends and they all readily admit to this. Many of them even tell me they prefer texting because they feel awkward on the phone. In spite of this, I generally refuse to text because I was raised to call and am way better talking on the phone than texting.

The issue from what I've seen hasn't been this. It's what you do after your roommate can't see Ironman at ten.

I think this just struck again. I completely forgot about the first incident so I was talking to this new chick on gchat (she msged me on plentyoffish a few days ago, pretty cute, tall) and she friended me on fb and I accepted w/o really thinking. 5 mins later she says "brb" (this was 3 hrs ago), not heard from since.

Sigh.

LazyTop, If you want a girl to take care of herself take care of yourself...I dont know about chest hair all that much, it prob works for some people....

i have 7 chest hairs and i refuse to shave them

id at least trim that ****, you dont want it to be short and prickly though (so trim and keep it fuzzy/soft or go all the way and leave no stubble) or itll hurt her face when shes goin down on you

chest depends entirely on the girl id imagine.

one girl i know loved chest hair, the other preferred it shaved. basically depends on if the girl thinks gerard butler or zac effron is hotter if that makes sense. fwiw both of them preferred shaving on the down low.

I was just talking to my friend about this today, but from the other side. I messaged this really cute pof girl, like 7ish and we sent a few messages back and forth. I add her while we're both on the IM client and I realize her pics were so deceiving. Her face is not nearly as cute, her lifestyle looks boring, and worst of all, she has fat legs. And worse, before I stalked her fb, I got her number before leaving the IM and told her I'd text today. I feel so awful not texting her (was pretty clear she had low self esteem), but I don't really want anything to do with her anymore. I would ordinarily just text her anyway and try for some silver lining like meeting her cute friends, but it doesn't look like she has anything to offer whatsoever. Stupid me for getting the digits.

I've hardly updated my FB page since college and whatever pics get posted of me are just tagged by others at random times, and I don't really care to get all hyperactive about making my facebook page reflect as good a side of me as my online dating profile does. I need to just not add girls on FB before I meet them.

goofy, just set your FB so that you have to approve them to view your pics, that way they wont see anything that can hurt your chances

I don't think you need to get all hyperactive. FB sends an email when a pic is tagged of you. You can just check it out and click untag for each one. Doesn't take that much energy. FB is a valuable tool, really saved my ass from meeting this girl and discovering in person that her photo was misleading. You shouldn't give that up.

Hi kids!

Long time no see. Had a computer virus and was helping my pops with his business for a week as well, so I was out of the loop for a while.

Had a date with CRC. Took her to a pretty legit steak place called Stoney River (http://www.stoneyriver.com/). The ribeye was fantastic. Forgot to take pics at dinner, my bad.

When we got over to the movie, we realized we had a little time to kill. The movie was at the mall, but most of the stores were already closed b/c it was a later movie, so we just walked around a little. This is my favorite pic from that part.



Actually went and did one of those photo booth things (awwwwww) but she kept the pics, not sure where they are.

Finally made it to the movie. Saw the new Nightmare on Elm Street movie. Not bad, not great. Pretty predictable, but decently scary. The ending blew, but welcome to that genre, I guess.

I was distracted.



Also, fwiw, yes those are 3D glasses. Whatever, I'm a little bit of a clepto sometimes.

Went walking around, grabbed a cup of coffee and just talked for a while until like 1am. One of the only pics of that part of the night.



Oh yeah, and then last week she stayed at my house from Wed-Fri, spent most of her afternoons sunbathing by the pool and most of the nights living it up. It didn't suck.

Anyway, now she's off marching drum corps for the summer, so I'm on my own again. Butnahhhhhh, I already got this one lined up. I've shown you her pics before.

Overall, I think the plan is to date CRC when she gets back. While CRC is fairly peculiar, blonde girl is a little nuts. Both are very pretty iyam, way too hot for me, but what can I say? You can't mess with this circle of beauty!*

Ya big noses don't bother me -- Karak actually pointed that out to me. CRC doesn't have ea big nose, but her body is legit. Something about a small flexible body with nice curves that's just.... i dunno... perfect?
