There's a gentleman out of the UK who hand crafts them. He hasn't returned my email yet () so I'm not sure if he's still producing them. When I hear back from him I will PM you his info.

Hi guys,

Any thoughts on this watch? It's a Christopher Ward Malvern C5 and it sells for around $310 with leather strap or $410 with alligator. I like the look of it and it has gotten some good reviews but I'm wondering if perhaps there are other choices out there that look similar in this price range?

Ugly logo. Kind of says "designer watch" if you know what I mean. I like clean simple logos or none at all. Just my opinion though. Others may think it's fine.

Whats the story with this brand? Is the quality supposed to be any good? Thats a pretty good Pan knockoff!

That Mont Blanc Timewalker Pilot is really sweet. An interesting combination of different stylings. It's like half diver and half pilot.

Tried this on and was not completely sold. Might buy it anyway as I'd could just get another watch if it won't grow on me, but figured I's see if anyone knew of anything in the same style, sort of, to approx the same price.

Also, that Mont Blanc is very pretty, though I'm not that fond of the black link.

What they are is replica watches without the branding. They quality is that of most middle-high end replica watches.

Tony: Congrats on getting it. I know you've wanted one for some time now.

So far it has kept good time, running in synch with my computer.

I've heard of some homage watches that can gain as much as 4 min/hour...that should almost never happen, and is likely due to some sort of magnetism during shipping.

So far so good, I think my GF paid ~$110 - $125 for it, with optional swan neck movt for an extra $50 or so, she opted not to go for that.

Oh well, I'm still pleased. I can bang this around and not worry that I have a $5k watch on my wrist. Although, I'd love the real thing, it's just not realistic at this moment in my life.

I'll update this thread when I get my custom leather band.

Thanks ss!

How is the quality of the overall watch? Looks like a pretty solid deal at <$100

@100bucks the quality is pretty damm good. So far no problems with anything. Keeps good time, everything seems nice and tight. You can upgrade the movement and crystal if you would want to spend a little more.
Overall I was pleasantly suprised.

Yeah, I honestly think that for ~$100, these homages are pretty good. Obviously they don't have the allure of the real thing or the fine movments, but are a nice option for a banging around watch that you can afford to get scratched, keep good enough time (for me), etc. I'm very happy with my MM (Jacksontse) replica. There's a great thread on watchuseek.com dedicated to the best homage/replica Pams.

Only thing that bitch needs is some anti refelctive coating. Black faced watches need it a lot more than white faced ones. It looks sooooo much better with it. You never see the crystal ever.

Which watch are you referring to? If you were referring to mine I am not sure exactly what you mean by you never see the crystal? I have no troble with the case being refective as not being able to see what time it is. It has the superlume also so the hands really stand out!

Okay, quick vent:

If it's so easy to make a great-looking replica for under $100, why is it so hard to find a great-looking original for under $100? Is it that tough to think of an original design? I mean I am starting to think I should get into the watch design business.

Replicas/labeless replicas take a mold of something already made, bang it out for cheap, and have no problem selling them as the demand is already high because other companies created the market for that image, you can keep prices very low and still make a profit.

Creating an original design would require capital dumped into design, advertising, with no guarantee you're gonna sell enough to get your money back, so it's hard/impossible for them to sell for cheap without taking on a loss.

Here's my watch. I know it's not crazy balla or anything, but I've had it for 3 years and haven't had a single problem with. The quality is really good and I think it looks nice and it's really heavy and clunky which I like.

Invicta Lupah model 2220

The only problem is that ppl always ask me if it's a Breitling ripoff because the logos are similar. I think it's just coincidence though.

If anyone is interested, I just started working for a private dealer.

I have access to almost anything you could want. Panerai, IWC, rolex, AP etc.

If you shoot me a PM I can give you my email address, phone numbers, and we can go from there.

We just got this in:

and just unloaded this:
