Cool thread. I didnt realise there was a watch discussion on 2+2.

I picked up one of these recently on a trip to the States (im from the UK).

some of the new rolex models for the year.. daytona is platinum and the rest are steel..

Not the biggest Rolex fan but like that Yacht Master.

Ultimate seafarer's watch must be the PP Nautilus though.

Love the Jack Heuer 80 Special Edition. Not so sure about the 1887 Jack Heuer. Pushers on top weird me out.

Love the Daytona.
Like the GMT.
Don't like the YM.

Not a Rolex fan indeed.

Platinum Daytona will be a ****ing tank. If you've never tried on a platinum Rolex, or any other full platinum watch including the bracelet I highly recommend it. Careful though, it has the potential to tear your arm from the socket.

Rolexes just look so boring. That GMT looks like a million other Rolexes which have come before it. Same with Omegas, incidentally. I would never buy the YM2 as I'm not a fan of the brand, but it strikes me as the most interesting of the lot (and looks quite "yacht-y", which I liked).

I appreciate that I'm probably not the best person to give an opinion on a Rolex as there is a good chance it will be negative.

I would swap all three of them for a simple Royal Oak in SS if it were my choice.
