Cool date font, too.

I've held a few of them, they are really, really nice watches. The bracelet is so, I don't know, the short links definitely make it more comfortable than say, a Sub.

I'm a Steinhart fanboy and a sucker for orange/black divers, so what can I say...

Watches make good trophies nowadays. What percent of your net worth should you spend on a watch? Assuming it is your primary timepiece??

i wouldnt look at it that way. i would consider how much disposable income you have, how much responsibility you have, how much you like watches, and any value you gain professionally by presenting a certain image

i'm liking the nylon strap (pic a few posts up). any other color suggestions? i thought maybe grey with blue stitching but i havent seen one

I like the red and white one. The black and teal isn't my cup of tea.

Looking for a Pilot's watch, Stowa seems to be my best option. Steinhart and Hamilton have some nice options too. Any other Pilot's watches i should look at (<1k)before i make a decision?

pretty big fan of the TimeFactors Speedbird if you want a mechanical pilot style watch but not one that is 44mm +

http://www.timefactors.com/speedbird.htm

another brand you should look at is probably archimedes

http://www.archimede-watches.com/arc...0-b-watch.html

Slightly over your budget but
