this is sort of moot since the person who shot him has in all likelihood claimed the shot (and since you appear to be assuming that the person who killed Hoya is a wolf, then you should be voting IAmRobik tout de suite), but to explain my confusion about why someone would take that shot:

tbh i don't remember the last "great" villa game Hoya has had; from what i remember of his games this year, he barely puts in any volume and doesn't really evince that Hoya attack dog mentality that used to make him so good

if the person who shot him was trying for a SPK, there were a surfeit of other, better candidates who had made more than 2 posts today (e.g., Moocher/Vagos/insanity/Leo)

if the person who shot him was trying for a wolf, there were a surfeit of other, better candidates who had made more than 2 posts today (or, if the shooter didn't have wolf leans of their own, they can claim the shot beforehand, solicit suggestions, and get information that way)

basically, Hoya was ~rand and there was no reason for someone to target him specifically unless they weren't really thinking that much about who to shoot (which is apparently the case, if Robik is the shooter)
