Dunno why but I kinda got the impression that LB had done this before. So he shoudl have a good idea as to how long it will take.

Besides, we can tweak teh rules if it is moving too slowly, imo.

I've done a similar one for an ongoing league where just over half the roster slots are full. We finished up most of it in a week or so there. I would guess we would be down to the last few slots each in a couple of weeks.

I am impressed by some of the prodigious bidding going on. It does say this in the guidance, but it might be worth saying again. You really should keep about $10-$15 to deal with filling DL slots, dumping incompetent fools and calling up youngsters. If you were to spend your full $260. you would have to go the full season with just your 23 man roster, unless you could trade to free up some cash.

perhaps a good way for people to look at it is to discount player values by 10% (from what you would use in a non-dynasty league) in order to leave money left over.

From my understanding if you want to actually use someone you selected in the prospect draft, you are given the option of a 3 year or 5 year rookie contract to sign him to, and this contract that you give him counts against your $260. Correct?

Put another way, if you spend all of your $260 you cannot activate any of your prospects during the season.

Prospect callups cost you $3 for the their first year is my understanding. The 3 to 5 year contact is given after a $3 3 year rookie contact. Please correct me if I am wrong LB. Also it's your pick sooted, since tomveil didn't make a prospect pick in the 24 hours alloted.

I've noticed that the minor league draft has slowed down significantly, remember if you are going to be gone you can proxy your choices to someone who wont pick before you. Also, if people are having difficulty finding someone to pick feel free to send me a PM on here or on the board and I'd be glad to give you a few names.
