Shiiiiii.... should I try to withdraw all my money ASAP? Freakin' out a bit here.
Probably yes. Will it help? Probably not.

I read an article that said Stars will no longer allow US based players, but it gave no indication if this was permanent or if you will be allowed to withdrawal the money. Anyone heard anything?

Any thoughts about the possibility of getting money out? The site is still allowing cashout requests, but who knows if they'll go through.

DC out.

Bastards.

Should you withdraw your money? Either....

1) The DOJ doesn't want to allow it, in which case you are already ******.
2) The DOJ doesn't care, in which case its safe, but........good luck finding a payment processor now. I'm guessing withdrawing any money may be impossible for a while. (read: months)

Cashing out is stupid. I mean, what payment processor actually works right now?

lol americans.

04-15-2011 , 04:02 PM
Damn. I'm in Missouri also. Even tried with a proxy server through Canada.

This appears to be the big legal battle. I can't access real money tables on PS (Missouri). I can't wait for Skall and PPA to comment.

So if the sites do not respond to this by blocking US players, can the government block us from playing on the site anyway?
04-15-2011 , 04:08 PM
msut be your connection
04-15-2011 , 04:08 PM
No its not just you, its happening to me as well. Its never happened before fwiw.

i couldn't withdraw for the past 2 months... so it's not like that changed.

Instead of a blackout brought by legislation, we have one brought by force. Sad day.

I will luckily be heading out of the country in the next couple months. What is the chance I can withdraw my money as an international player?
04-15-2011 , 04:14 PM
CANT SIT EITHER, REALLY SUCKS, FROM FLORIDA
04-15-2011 , 04:14 PM
I'm worried about the roughly $3k worth in Ftps and iron man medals I have.

Should I convert immediately to bonus or will it not matter? Best to leave then as be and see what happens?
04-15-2011 , 04:15 PM
You couldn't withdraw the past two months?

I logged on, from Mx, just now, and checked 25 tables. Almost all the tables had NO U S players and the 3-4 that did only had one player seated. It looks bad. And for me too, since I do not have any banking in Mx, just the U S where I am a citizen and have all my financials still their. I am not even going to try to cash out to the U S right now.

Why? His parther Ruth Parasol has no criminal record and has paid no massive fine.

btw I think the charges are all very tenuous as they relate to the individuals charged. All but the bank fraud rely on the dubious illegality of ipoker and I doubt that they can prove that the indictees knew about the low level processing.

Also (although it is prob none of my business) I really think that poker players in the US should make it utterly clear to any elected official supporting this heavy handed action that they will do everything they can to have them removed from office at the earliest opportunity.
