depending on song length, yes I can and frequently do zone out during singers. I do have an impeccable sense of timing though and always make it back to the soundboard with 60-45 seconds left in the song. So, a five minute song gives me 30-60 seconds to tune the soundboard to the singer, 3ish minutes of ****ing around and 45-60 seconds to get ready for current song to end and set up next song.

that of course assumes that someone doesn't need me to look up a song for them, I need another beer, or any number of other distractions (usually female) that can and do occur.

I decided to retain all my clients and continue representing clients on my own (I have an LLC I can operate under for the time being) so my handful of musicians and music producers have had me pacing around my living room like a nervous new father. It's been an annoying day but if I can work through days like this and make things happen for my clients I can sell my solo business to a larger agency in a few months-year and work for a bigger firm here in L.A.
