Probably not much better than minimum wage lifetime with the crazy amount of hours I've put in but I honestly have no idea.

Going to self-learn the basics of several languages for a month or two then try to get into one of the programming bootcamps. The one I've been looking at has a job fair at "graduation". 95% of the graduates in that specific bootcamp are hired at that job fair. So, assuming you get accepted to the program (<10% acceptance rate) and you complete the program you have an almost guaranteed job waiting at the end.

If the question comes up I will tell them something about being self-employed for the last however many years. If they probe further then I'll probably say what I did. When people ask "what do you do" and I say "play poker" you either get the response "wow that's cool" (and then they ask you a bunch of questions related to that) or you get the "Be careful not to gamble all your money away". I've found if they are in that second group trying to reason with them is completely pointless. Even all the evidence in the world wouldn't be enough to get them to change their opinion. It's kind of like trying to argue "god doesn't exist" with a religious person. It's futile.

The only pic of me that was put up was when I had a lot of hair and was a bit scruffy.

well, i guess u might be tired of poker after so many years, but i just can't imagine a "real job" would be a lot of fun
I bolded the parts that apply right now in poker. I swear to god most players make it their mission to give me an endless string of rediculous beats. Either that or they really are just that fishy. I don't know anymore tbh.
Poker hasn't been fun for a long time. It's not fun knowing that you are playing with a big handicap against you. It's not fun when you know it's going to be another day of players trying to give away their chips but never succeeding at it. Every day its like... "okay, yesterday was horrific but today is a new day" but then it just picks up right where it left off. My favorite time of the day is bedtime.
