Most of my bookmarks are imported from old google accounts. I wouldn't be surprised if 70% or more of the bookmarks are dead links (including that one). I tend to be a bit messy both irl and on my computer. I literally won't clean up my pc until the desktop is completely filled up with nonesense files. I have 11 sticky notes open only 1 of which is even semi-relevant. I have a 2 tb drive that is almost full but has probably 500+ gigs of crap I don't want. If i cleaned up my bookmarks I would probably only have 10-15 left out of the 100s that I have. I guess I'm a bit of a hoarder you could say

After 8 years or w/e of very limited success I think it's time to move on. What I've found out in my time playing poker is that luck plays a lot bigger role than many people would have you think. There was a pretty intelligent post I read recently regarding variance. You often hear people say "Just keep playing and variance will even out over time". Put in practical terms, what that statement is saying is that if you are 20 bi under ev one month then, with enough time, you will eventually reach your ev. Variance tends to increase over time, not decrease. Put another way, if you're running really good for a long time you're more likely to keep running good than you are to to start running bad. Put in EV terminology, if you are 30 bi above ev one month, you are more likely to be 30 or more bi above ev months later than you are to revert back to your ev.

How soon will we be shaking hands with ET? That might be a while. We haven't been been broadcasting radio signals (TV) for a century yet. It might be a few more centuries before ET even knows of our existence and then centuries more after that for them to respond.

I'm sure those nutjobs that appear on the "Ancient Aliens" tv show would endorse the first theory. As for the second that theory, that might have been true historically but doesn't really apply anymore (for humans anyway).

I wouldn't consider life with her. It's not that I have a problem with her having herpes, its that I am the most forgetful person you will ever meet. I would no doubt forget at some point that she has herpes, have sex, and now I have herpes too.
