Anyway, people that whinge about the offside, offsides IMO are pretty soft. Yes, it is offside, and not offside. But it is also "football" in some places and "soccer" in others. Personally, if people calling the rule offsides is the worst thing in football at the moment, well, we have it pretty good...

Soccer is perfectly acceptable terminology. Offsides is just lol, makes no sense and is inarguably incorrect.

And yet we keep drawing you offsides at the mention of it.

In all seriousness, following this WC here has taught me a ton, and this is only a small example. It's been a blast.

i want to share this cool story bro. 3 minutes after brazil's red card there was a power outage in my apartment. i live downtown so we run to nearest pub across the street where theyre showing the match obv. but no luck, as the power seemed to be out in most of the city centre.

praise jesus for cops, as there were some pig vans parked in the street (as there have been for every holland wc match so far) who had turned on the radio on the van speakers. and so there were like 200 people in the middle of the road crowded around the cop vans listening to the radio coverage for like the last 20 minutes of the match in the 35° heat. everyone drinking and sweating the match together... v v v v epic!!!!!!!!!!!

ps. does anyone have any links to sites where i can rewatch/download/purchase whole matches? cause i really want to view those last 20ish minutes. i know u can view entire CL matches on the uefa site but fifa site only offers highlights
