Dood I'm with heels here. They show the most histrionics during improbable comebacks. So kinda can't be front running.

They're cocky. Deal with it.

Still feel good about GSW in 5.

Make or miss league etc... Dion Waiters will probably be Dion Waiters forever, he's basically still a poor rebounder, passer, and not a good defender who turns it over quite a bit but if he stops taking stupid shots and playing heroball but focus more on taking catch & shoot 3's and those 3 actually go in then he's becoming a good role player and valuable to OKC of course.

Problem is he's a 33% career 3pt shooter and shooting 45% in the playoffs this season, likely going to regress quite a bit.

But it definitely does seem as if the intensity and importance of the minutes he's playing are leading him to be less of a knuclehead so good for him that his shot is falling at the right time but I don't see him as a game changer really

45% is high but like you said, if he just sticks to wide open catch and shoot corner 3s generated by Russ and Durant he's gonna shoot much higher %. 33% career is based off his lolWaiters shot selection.

Seems like he's been a passable individual defender as well these playoffs

You are going to see a lot more of that as he hasn't ever faced much adversity (unless you count the almost derrick rose-like injury history) through a hilarious combo of being on one of the world's greatest heaters and having the playoff bracket part like the red Sea this year and last up til now.

super casual take but that seems...done. you think W's wins next 4?

OKC just took out a super Spurs team, the W's did not look the same down the stretch or vs Portland, and Steph is not 100%.

I would take W's to win the series but I think they are huge dogs to win in 5 and maybe even money to win in 6.

(just sort of guessing at #'s, but GSW in 5 seems done)

I didn't even mention Katie let alone criticize him, you're the one making it about that.

Sorry for posting Westbrook's 3rd quarter stats in an amazing comeback on the road vs the best team of all time. I thought it was relevant to the thread.

Yea fair enough I can buy that he's meant to shoot higher from 3 than what his career 3P% reflects although I was under the impression that most of his drooling comes from stepback long 2's kind of shots. Still 45% is not sustainable of course but if he's figured that he's better off standing in the corner and shooting 3's like he's been doing and not do the things he's bad at then fair play to him and he'll have been a fine rotation player for these playoffs

Warriors definitely need to find a way to get Durant out on the perimeter in one on one situations against guards. He got blown by multiple times last night with ease stepping out to defend.

The Warriors bench completely destroyed OKC's when the 2nd quarter line change occurred. That's going to keep happening, now you have to ask yourself if OKC is going to constantly pull themselves out of that hole in the 2nd half. They did it last night, I don't see them doing it for another 3 wins.

I'm not sure that RUSS or KD should sit in the first half. Maybe 2 min each, but push them early and let them rest in the 4q if the game isn't <15 points to start and <10 with 5 min left.

You don't think OKC coming back down multiple times after being down double digits in the third was gutsy? Agree that the Warriors didn't turn it up in the fourth like OKC did though.

OKC has now beaten SAS and GSW three straight times on their home floor, and GSW kind of struggled to close out Portland even with Steph. There is just a chance that OKC is playing better overall.

G2 GSW -8.5, no vig series line -160.

On the Iggy putback when he was fouled, if he had made the dunk, would it have been disallowed since the foul was deemed to occur before the shot motion started?

Take a moment to realize that the best coach on GSW is heading to the Lakers in a month.

This team has been a shadow of what they were under Professor Pythagoras.

Love the over reaction to OKC's win. "The Warriors dominated the first half and got lazy in the second" is much more likely than"OKC figured out how to stop Golden State." Relax people.
