I am willing to bet the Lakers get one of them at 5:3, maybe higher

OKC has now beaten SAS and GSW three straight times on their home floor, and GSW kind of struggled to close out Portland even with Steph. There is just a chance that OKC is playing better overall.
Gutsy is usually defined by a strong defensive performance imo. I don't think OKC's comeback was a result of defense.

warriors scored 14 points in the forth quarter.

OKC did a great job of taking the three away and making them drive then using their length to protect the rim

Pretty ugly 2nd half. i've had no interest in KD all year, but damn, I'd take lurch in a heartbeat. told my wife over the weekend i was hoping Bogs couldn't play because I didn't want Adams to have the extra OZ v Penal Colony motivation. Was unfortunately right.

too bad about that little monkey thing...

I always thought the extra rest was planned by the nba mostly to help lebron/cavs. Agree its inexcusably long.

I think last night was a partly a product of them getting bored. They've done that a bunch this year with their fancy play syndrome and made games closer than they should have been. Dray's deep threes, Klay's behind the back pass, the botched 3 on 1, Curry missing Iggy twice. You can do that **** in the regular season and get away with but not in the WCF. Despite all the uncharacteristic mistakes they were only down by 3 when Russ traveled and very well could have pulled the game out. I don't think they make those mistakes two games in a row.

the only thing more unbelievable than a team being "bored" for Game 1 of the Conference Finals would be them "bored" down 0-1

its not uncharacteristic if they do it all the time, its who they are

russ traveled because klay bodied him, thats a no call and its pretty much how they always call it. either a foul on klay or no call.

There is extra rest because neither West semi went 7, so they could start two days early.

He doesn't even touch him lol. Westbrook travels bc he's goin so fast and out of control and tries to stop and loses his footing. Has nothin to do with Klay.

when the players were shook, they were shook.

I only saw the 4th quarter but I thought OKC's defense was fantastic. They could have won by more if Durant didn't miss so many easy jumpers.

So yeah I'd say they did figure out how to stop Golden State, at least for a half. We'll see if Kerr and co. can adjust.

what are you talking about? hes clearing running with his elbow into him. thats a foul call at any other point in the game

thats also the worse angle. you cant even tell how much he bodies him, only that he is doing it and they are going top speed. its just a foul

even if this were true, it's ridiculous to be a no call at the end of the game, gsw need either a turnover or send okc to the line

watched the 4th, woyas didn't show much poise down the stretch, taking a lot of early shots and botched some easy plays. still, they were loafing around for portions of the 3rd quarter, was pretty inexplicable

edit: super obv but, they just have to play better lol. thunder gave them plenty of chances down the stretch

OAKLAND, Calif. -- A traveling violation should have been called on Russell Westbrook on a critical possession in the final minute of Monday's Game 1 of the Western Conference finals, the NBA's senior vice president of replay and referee operations said.
He put out this statement 1 hour after the game bc it was so lolbad.
