It's weird to see a coach let their best players play over 40 minutes. They might get hurt or a little tired or something.

OKC isn't as deep and don't have a Varejao type player though so they can't rest their best guys

If they beat GS then OKC will expand their bench in the finals I'm sure, atleast at first.

Kanter will play a little more, Morrow might get some run.

It's just tough to get guys who suck on D on the court against GS.

Everyone knows how long okc are, but I checked the wingspans and it's insane. Westbrook 6'8, roberson 6'11, kd 7'4, ibaka 7'6, Adams 7'5.

In comparison Golden state are steph 6'4, Klay 6'9, Barnes 6'11, dray 7'1, bogut 7'3. Basically three inches shorter at every single position

Amazing that they were mediocre defensively during the season

Incredibly important for the Warriors to get off to a good start. Thunder up 15 in the second quarter with crowd going berserker equals lights out.

RUSS should play 38 of the first 40 min tonight. He can rest sometime after that after he's put the game to rest.

He played 40 last game. He's going to get his, still has to do with role players.

The only real question is does GS win because they finally start playing well or does Russ hand them the game?

Staying big and scrapping the gimmick defense were both important adjustments for GS.

Like most here, I've got OKC winning tonight, but I think it will be a close game.

Probably come down to foul trouble if GS stays big

Can't wait for this game. Don't care who wins, but I have a feeling it will be epic.

ill go further. id feel better about OKC's chances vs Cleveland if they win a close game tonight than if they win in another rout, as strange as that sounds.

Adams assaults people and gets away with the same exact stuff. Could call a foul on every rebound in the league.

Getting jacked for tonight's game. Hopefully the bar I end up at has the same enthusiasm. Should be fine if the hipsters stay in.

Waiting for Mr 1k to show up too. Need popcorn.

Maybe, I just don't think the Thunder offense has proven it's the type to succeed in close games. Westbrook/Durant trading iso's. And LBJ seems to have Durant's number. So to me, an easy win doesn't really do much to change those things. But pulling out a close win vs the only 73 win team of all time would take execution down the stretch they just haven't shown me to be capable of consistently. Them doin that would mean more to me than a blowout win would. Could certainly be a hot take I won't deny that.

to be honest I'm not sure the Cavs defense has proven they can make the game close against OKC's non-end of game offense, so that might be a moot point

you may argue Lebron has OKC's number based on the W-L ratio (he did win all of the games when KD's team sucked) but stats are saying KD is playing really well when matching lebron's team both regular season and playoffs

I'm pretty shocked at the lines tbh. I guess the casual fan has given up on GSW?
