So Wilson is the best QB itl who isn't named Rodgers, Brees, Manning, or Brady? That's certainly up for debate.

What isn't up for debate is the rest of your post. The Hawks spend more on Offense than any team itl. So much so, their offensive cap spending alone in 2013 was about what the Jags spent on their whole team. The Hawks spend 79m on offense. Alone. Moreover, their top 3 players in terms of cap are all offense, and 6/10 are offense.

So the notion they have tons of cap to spend wildly on defense b/c they are getting insane value at the QB position is just wrong.

As I have said before, the most amazing thing about the Hawks is how good they are on D for how little.

The two best players on the Seattle defense... two of the best players in the league are on rookie contracts. It's not just the QB. They have had amazing drafts for 3+ years and it showed.

it's hilarious how much they've given to basically irrelevant players like zach miller, rice, etc.

Hate is a beautiful thing.
This is the best Zeno post I have ever read by a large margin. And there have been some pretty good ones.

He brought back to back 1 seeds and was favored in the Super Bowl how much more title equity can you ask for.

who said that? Denver was quite injured on D. Our O could have moved on Denver and our D isn't that shabby. pretty sure there were 3-4 teams in the NFC who could have beaten Denver.....

Was at a house party tonight with a guy who placed moneyline bets with his bookie at about every increment he could from straight up to 7.5 : 1. Had Seahawks like +2, -1, -3, -5, -9, and -13. Also had first half +1. All based on his hatred of Peyton. Maybe not have been scientific but it paid off, as betting against Peyton usually does in January and February.

It's worth noting that of the top 10 cap hits for the Seahawks 7/10 are on the O and D line.

They wisely avoid overpaying for star talent (for the most part) and just buy a bunch of really good players. And run like God in the draft.

Fox just sucks. He's sucked for years, this just proves it more. Last year in the playoffs vs the Ravens was the kicker of ineptitude.

SF prolly also beats Denver comfortably - but not like this. Some SF fans can be annoying - but they're a great team and Hawks fans should be proud we beat them and excited for some great games next year.

There's no reason??

Uh, how about to not get decimated in the SB when you have maaaaybe 4 more cracks at it?

If Peyton made $8m instead of $19m per year do you think his life is going to look any different?

That's the whole key. He already has more money than he will ever spend.

There are RARE occasions where I'd expect a player to do this fwiw. Manning and Brady are both ldo situations tho.

I've only REALLLLLLLY been paying close attention to the NFL since 2000 and I believe this years Seahawks are the best team, certainly the best team to win a SB. I think they would beat the ever living **** out of the undefeated* Pats team as well. So, best.
