I really think ikes gets screwed in here by some of the harshness, not everything he says deserves criticism, and it's not like he's NOT a resident doctor, this is me asking - as a poster, not a mod - for a little more recognition of his humanity and effort as a poster. Not saying you have to agree, but he doesn't deserve constant ridicule like he gets.

He deserves more ridicule than he gets if anything. To have such an overwhelming majority of people truly loathe your existence and still engage with them nonstop is pretty indicative of some mental problems. Like, I'm sure a lot of people dislike me, but I'm able to get through like 75% of discussions without being superaids. Ikes is terrible literally every single time.

He might not be a bad person (though probably he is) but there's not a single credible defense of his posting..

It was in regards to politics, but there's not a poster in SE more word-association with politics than ikes. Besides Wookie I guess.

i mean this is a poker forum, back in the day the best thing you could do was to flame really bad logic or theory instead of trying to be nice wrt genuine strategy-related posts. ikes is the guy who never accepts advice and plays every hand perfect.

I hate everything and am not generally fond of ikes' posting but agree with Hoya.

Also, like, no other poster here could get into medical school, let alone get through it, so props for that.

But maybe post less and study more. And maybe suck a little less.

Like I've made clear in the past, I just keep people who annoy me on ignore, but if I find one of those people being rude and condescending while also not being nearly as knowledgeable as they think they are, regarding a topic that interests me, I'll say something.
