Never noticed any alcohol-related ill effects FWIW.
I think it lowered my threshold for feeling drunk, but I made up for that by drinking a lot more often than I had been.

Yup. I stay away from it for that reason. Never mixed it with alcohol. The only time I'd ever take it is in a low dose if I needed help sleeping, like on a plane or something.
