I jokingly diagnosed Searix with Ebola detroit, I apologized to joballs for posting my FACE, and happily I retained the GOATEAGLE.

I don't get why people have a medical question and ask strangers online instead of just going to the damn doctor. No one can say what you have without at least a physical exam searix, go to the doctor

This reminds me of a friend of mine in college.

He was flirting with a girl from one of his classes while we played Cranium and something in the game prompted her to challenge him to identify what he liked about her. His spectacularly bad response:

"I appreciate all your . . . facets."

He later nailed her.

doesn't sound like a bad response at all

It's hard to convey the delivery in text. It was laughable.

Got a nasty scar on one knee (big 2x4 in. scar), but the weird thing is the OTHER knee has occasionally felt super weak since then. If i walk more than a quarter mile it'll start to feel like... i dont know... like it could buckle, kinda scary. I try to put my weight on my other knee as much as i can and step gingerly when it happens.

First thought was a Torn ACL, but i havent noticed swelling (of course i was smashed that oktoberfest weekend so it might've been and i just didnt notice). What's going on FACK?
My didn't swell when I tore my ACL. Get an MRI.

For me it's pretty simple. I don't value their expertise nearly enough to pay deductible and spend 2 hours driving and sitting in waiting rooms.

I don't really ask random strangers though. That's unnecessary given all the information available online.

I can't wait for the day where we can get antibiotics via a phone call or Web chat.

I call my doctor's office and ask for a prescription to be sent to CVS.

Granted I have a very rare skin disease, maybe that is why. But I'm 99% sure when my gf got strep throat and I caught it I was able to call my doc and they gave me antibiotics based on the fact she had it and had just gotten a prescription.

I'm never sick, but my wife works with kids and is sick constantly. Would be much easier to just get her the medicine fast without wasting time at appointments.

I definitely don't have a doctor I could do this with. I don't think I've ever seen the same doctor twice.

It is not lupus, and fortunately some genius ITALIANS decided to test some drug on it last year and it proved to be a potential cure. So probably only wait 5-10 years for the drug to come to AMERICA.

Sounds like a midwest thing where the doctor is also the gas attendant and minds the corner store

Get a PCP.

I didn't have one for forever when I was young and robust. I would just go to the walk-in if something is up.

But I'm old now, so did some research, and have a PCP who's pretty awesome. I've been in email contact with him recently, discussing hospice care.

Errr that's pretty valid imo. A lot of states have specific rules that allow doctors to treat a patient's partner for an STD sight unseen. Good doctoring imo.
