Meh. I'm probably being too harsh. It just sucks that there can't just be good basketball analysis, without all the other junk. It always devolves into MJ vs. LBJ. Add in Kobe from time to time.

Summer pants update:

The Bonobos were better than expected walking 2 miles in the sun @ 88 degrees (while juggling, or course). Overall very, very solid for $100.

Got the Outliers ultralights in the mail yesterday. These are legitimately amazing--they look like actual tailored dress pants but feel athletic and very light. Supposed to be virtually stain-proof, unwrinkleable, untearable, and insta-drying as well. $240 is a little stiff on it's face compared to Bonobos, but if they hold up as advertised I'll be perfectly happy with them. Oh, and my unit doesn't make a text-worthy impression through these.

Both are next-gen American manufactured with living wages for workers attained by cutting out the retailer middle-men and selling direct with liberal returns available. I kinda like that, and so far these are overall much better than the other more typical brands I've tried.

Also got the Uniqlo undershirts yesterday. Excellent, I actually felt cooler the instant I put them on. "airflow" or something or other, for about $10 a piece. These size slightly low, even the Dean would go large at worst. Their short sleeve moisture-wicking anti-microbial polo was a disappointment, As the sleeves on XL were not round enough for my arms by probably over an inch. Sure, I'm not the typical guy you'd pick to start a fight with, but I don't look like I'm on 'roads or anything.

Going to try the again today (with a long shirt) as it looks to be a scorcher and I'll be driving a boat for about 6 hours (it has SPF 50 material). I could wear the Outliers instead, but it would seriously look like I was wearing suit pants to an event involving waterskiing, and frankly that's just not a look I'd go for without a matching sport coat.

I also expect my next step in the quest for summer relief will be superheroesque spandex undies!
