Just had a couple of these.. wasn't a big fan and probably my least favorite Bell's beer, but it's certainly not bad (especially compared to most seasonal beer).

So what does everybody think of the Elf on the Shelf craze that's swept the nation for the last few years? (In before 'wtf is elf on the shelf?') I've heard everything from "Sacri-christmas" to "adorable". I've heard people actually claim that when kids realize Elf on the Shelf isn't real, it's going to **** their heads up. These same people propogate the existence of Santa Clause. BUT ANYWAY.

When I was a kid, we didn't have any ****ing elf on any of our shelfs. We had Santa IF WE WERE LUCKY. Some of the poorer kids down the road didn't even have him. But us wealthier kids convinced them he was real.

Now. Elf on the shelf has just been a thing that moves from shelf to shelf for the last couple of years. THIS year though, my wife has taken him to a different level. He arrived with a written message for the first time ever. The kids have found him in a bag of marshmallows. He's starting to get a little too ****ing comfortable in my home, if you ask me.

So, sometime between now and Christmas, I might have to display him. I might have a couple of beers in me. Elf on the Shelf may or may not kill one of the display angels. Ketchup may or may not be involved.

I don't want to scar my kids, but I don't want to pass up this opportunity. What to do.

If anyone's thinking of patenting "Chia elf on the shelf", don't bother. That ship has sailed.
