With all the attention on Froch Groves I'd missed that Sturm lost on Saturday.

Don't know if this was posted but Eubank Jnr more than held his own in this one round at least.

He lost to Groves as an amateur and the pro fight was as close as a fight could be.

Basically no. Even by TR standards this is a pathetic, FNF-level undercard. When fans complain about PPVs, this is the card they are complaining about.

Felix Verdejo is a name you should know, though. He's being pimped as the next superstar Puerto Rican, and in fact he does seems like the real deal. Not sure if he's on the televised portion.

Vasquez Jr was a vanquished foe of Donaire's during his 2012 campaign. His bout against Sonsona (the freakin' cofeature) is a rematch that Vasquez won KO4 in 2010.

Coincidentally, Jorge Melendez and JF Maciel have about the same record, 28-3, though Melendez has a draw. Which is about the most interesting thing about this fight.

Porter-Brook booked for August 9th in NYC.
