Saucedo's a fan-friendly, TV fighter for sure. He's always in entertaining fights and had a fight a couple years ago that won a couple Round of the Year honors...

Loma coming out to Clubbed to Death? On brand

Loma didn't throw more than 3 punches that round. Easy 1-0 Teo but there were a few moments at the end where Loma just moved effortlessly around him that had to scare him a bit.

I don't think Lopez landed more than 3 shots in that round, but Loma didn't throw 3 punches, so definitely Lopez 1-0. We'll see how this looks when Loma starts throwing and opening himself up more.

Loma one the only major exchange in that round pretty clearly. Loma is going to do exactly what everyone thinks he's going to do.

Loma will need to throw a bit more in order to win rds. He may have won rd 2 on those few super clean connects, but hard to say. It's early though, but you don't want to give away too many rds early on. Lopez seemed to take rd 3.

The next two rounds will tell us if Loma is just too weary of the speed and power of Lopez or if he was just getting accustomed to him.

Loma landed his jab nearly every time he threw it. Teo is hitting mostly gloves and elbows.

I agree. Though both of Loma's rds in your score are the closest rds in the fight. Wouldn't surprise me if judges have 3-1 or 4-0 Lopez right now.

Loma landed the jab again but only twice that I counted. Teo worked the body enough he probably stole that.

Agree Ry, I would expect Loma is probably down 4-1 or worse on all cards right now.

Loma landed everything of consequence that round until the end which may have stole it. Getting a little concerned by the lack of volume from Loma.

He gonna turn it on or what?

Yep, I'm with you. Same story, 3 rds you gave Loma there are the closest. Loma is adjusting, but hasn't proven effective enough yet to be cleanly taking rounds.

Loma's best round there. Fully aware I have all the close rounds going to Loma, but Teo isn't landing much of all. The announcers are losing their minds over uppercuts to the chest or gloves, it's bizarre.

Loma has never been that big of a draw, Lopez is super young and very popular for his resume. And/or Loma is giving Lopez a ton of respect and there's not much else to talk about other than Lopez throwing shots and looking poised and Loma not doing much.

Teo way more game than I expected and/or Loma giving way more respected than he might have needed to. Problem for Loma is that he's likely down 5-1 or worse through 6, so if he got 7 and 8 he still has to sweep.

Loma's first really big clear round to my eyes. Lopez didn't like that power at all and seemed to get a bit rattled.

That combination by Loma midround was pretty. He's stung Teo 2 or 3 times. Still feel like he needs an KD at least to win.

Loma looked pretty nice in 9 too. He's avoiding most of the big shots from Lopez.

Such clean work from Loma, Teo still hitting leather mostly. Needs to go back to the body, was easy scoring. Loma is scoring off every angle and pivot.

Teo has no real defense except his offense. Loma just doing his thing and absorbing the occasional return fire.

Loma is clearly better but he may have given too many early rounds to win.
