If you win the division you get home ice in the 2nd round. But the harder thing for the Leafs is getting to the 2nd round.

columbus with a back to back today vs. the capitals to try and stay alive in the playoff hunt.

the blue jackets got bet HARD yesterday - going from +120 to -125 - and the bettors were definitely right. today they're +145ish. not sure what's changed in 24 hours other than the game is in Washington and a capitals goalie switch to another backup (I would assume).

anyways, we know which team montreal fans are rooting for...

So, any suspense left? Calgary has to hope that Vegas and the Kangz just rest their guys and one of Minny and St.Louis lols it up against a bad team. East is kind of the opposite with Columbus hoping the Canes don't just lay down to Montreal. Can't really see either of those parlays hitting but I guess there's a decent chance one of them is still live going into the final day

I thought VGK might try to win tonight to stay sharp and play the scrubs vs. Vancouver tomorrow night. But nah according to Sportsnet:

could make for some interesting pull the goalie situations for Columbus tonight and their last game if necessary. Would expect them to pull the goalie on any power play if they are trailing and pretty early in the 3rd period if trailing or tied for faceoffs in the offensive zone.
