Bizarre games are blacked out in Europe? NBA league pass has 0 blackouts in most countries. Must be some weird tv deals there?

They've got a deal with Sky that they just extended and that's terrible for hockey fans. Sky will cost you like 40 bucks a month and you'll get a game per night if you're lucky, and more in the playoffs obv. And unlike DAZN who held the rights before them, they'll enforce nhl.tb blackouts, not only for live games but also for the re-live version, even though there's no way to watch games on demand through them. So around here if you want to make sure you can watch all games through official channels, you're shelling out 360 bucks for Sky October through June plus whatever nhl.tv costs these days. Which is why I've stopped giving them my money entirely.

And then there's fun stuff like these mother****ers not even knowing the games they rebroadcast and cutting to commercials mid-game and coming back when the actual commercial break is going on. Sky WOAT.

Like royalblue said its a problem with the rightholder in Germany. Didnt know that ahead of time and I didnt have problems with blackouts in past seasons. Basically all the games on the weekend that started at a time where a European could/would watch were blacked out. Its sucks but I wont pay Sky for few games that might not even have my favourite team in it.

Went to bed after the 2nd period. Just didnt have the feeling that the Oilers were close to scoring. Florida was just so much better. Must suck if you always wait for the McD-Draisaitl line to be on the ice to have reasonable expectations. Question is how long will they try this approach of 2 superstars + bad defense and garbage goaltending. Had a look at puckpedia but wow is their team old.
