Lane Hutson with an insane rookie season.

His 3 assist game gives him 54 assists for the season, 3rd all-time for a rookie defenseman and he's within striking distance of the record (1. Larry Murphy - 60, 2. Chris Chelios - 55).

Laine has 18g and 14 of them are just him banging in PP goals from the same exact spot. Dude is so damn useless 5 on 5. 72off warned us this would happen.

current odds: -20000, the field +5000 lolol

anyway pop quiz hotshot, who are the other 2?

hint: both also won the stanley cup in those seasons

will hollerback do the same? probably not
Tim Thomas? Probably not the wins though

According to a person familiar with the deal, the NHL has reached an agreement with Rogers Communications on a 12-year, $7.7 US billion media rights agreement in Canada.

Help with the Leafs cap errr I mean NHL salary cap.

I hope this means games aren't blacked out nationwide except the local market. It's such a pain in the ass.

other one was jacques plante in 1958–59

Quote:
During the 1959–60 season, Plante wore a goaltender mask for the first time in a regular season game. Although Plante had used his mask in practice since 1956 after missing 13 games because of a sinusitis operation, head coach Toe Blake was afraid it would impair his vision and would not permit him to wear it during regulation play. However, on November 1, 1959, Plante's nose was broken when he was hit by a shot fired by Andy Bathgate three minutes into a game against the New York Rangers, and he was taken to the dressing room for stitches. When he returned, he was wearing the crude homemade goaltender mask that he had been using in practices. Blake was livid, but he had no other goaltender to call upon and Plante refused to return to the goal unless he wore the mask. Blake agreed on the condition that Plante discard the mask when the cut healed. The Canadiens won the game 3–1. During the following days, Plante refused to discard the mask, and as the Canadiens continued to win, Blake was less vocal about it. The unbeaten streak stretched to 18 games. Plante did not wear the mask, at Blake's request, against Detroit on March 8, 1960; the Canadiens lost 3–0, and the mask returned for good the next night. That year, the Canadiens won their fifth straight Stanley Cup, which was Plante's last.
the more you know

actually insane that the goalie quad crown hasn't happened more, especially in the 6-team era. says a lot about what hollerback might accomplish this season ... should be in the mvp conversation? i assume jets coach has a good shot at jack adams too. him and the caps guy

hart
Connor Hellebuyck Jets -185
Nathan MacKinnon Avalanche 180
Leon Draisaitl Oilers 425

adams
Spencer Carbery Capitals -5000
Dean Evason Blue Jackets 900
Martin St.Louis Canadiens 2500
Travis Green Senators 5000
Scott Arniel Jets 5000

the disrespect smdh

yeah wayne was the easy one

kariya a good shout, but no. he was their first draft pick, but stayed the extra year in school so wasn't on the team in year 1. led them in scoring the next two seasons, they added selanne and he led year 3, kariya got injured year 4, after that they traded the lead back and forth for a while. pretty solid duo

Ya racquet club.

If you're his year we probably played against each other. I was Victoria city team atom/peewee, then racquet club bantam/midget.

Habs are always on either a 5 game winning or losing streak seemingly. Let's hope they finish strong. The home atmosphere has been like that of a playoff game 7 these last few games.
