Thoughts:

Zetterberg is not in shape. He looks gassed 20 seconds into every shift.

San Jose does a very good job of keeping the puck in the offensive zone. I think Babcock is getting outcoached here and the Wings need to do major work on their breakout.

This series has been very poorly officiated imo.

Fitting that White and Wallin score the goals. They've both been playing great for us since the trade and have stepped it up further in the playoffs. Niemi's playing much better than he was in the Kings series too.

They were easily the worst D pair in round one. The Handzus line dominated them with their cycle game. BUT I totally agree they have been fantastic this series, all the Sharks are playing great atm.

Really? I thought the scoring chance numbers posted had White pretty high up. They seemed to be worse the game he missed too.

ya this is a solid post, think they have been two whistle heavy on both sides. Usually in the playoffs they arent as stringent and will let the guys play a little bit more.

wings have played like crap both games and have only lost by one goal. howards playing outstanding imo. if the wings decide to start playing w/ some urgency they will come back in this series.

it's a shame the actual solid wangz posters ITT like zimmer, mjw and that old guy (the one who isn't tuq) are overshadowed by, you know, the rest of them

Odds say that Howard will not play nearly as well as he has in the first 2 games. Sharks easily could have put up a 4 or 5 spot today.

ya howards has definitely exceeded my expectations so far. Just nitpicking would be to say he shouldnt have let the sharks get under his skin as much as it seemed near the end of the game. he seemed enraged and is punching and slashing guys after the whistle, he got called for a minor last game and if he doesnt settle down a little more he may get a penalty that costs his team later in the series.

you may be right. i just remember them struggling vs. that line exclusively a lot.
