yeah i mean the CHOKEZ have clearly been the better team through two games, but sometimes these things have a habit of totally switching around with the change of scenery. and of course we should get a maximum effort from Detroit in Game 3, down 2-0. backs against the wall, and all that.

the worry is if they play more of the same, and don't get a 3rd straight heroic effort from Howard, things could get ugly. the biggest problem is that the WANGZ don't seem to have an answer for Jumbo, his line is just owning most of the time. plus the WANGZ just look banged up/gassed/old.

but don't feel bad WANGZwagon, i'm starting to get the feeling that the CHOKEZ are by far the best team in the league, and a near lock to finally hoist the SC this year. this is not your fault...

The attendance numbers just show that the Wings sell a lot of season tickets. A lot of those come from out-of-towners and people wanting priority on playoff tickets. Wings season ticket holders aren't going to go to every game, in large part, because the Wings never have a lot of regular season games that matter for the playoffs (because they've made the playoffs the last 100000 years). I know that opens up the "Wings fans only show up for the playoffs" argument, but it's true in part and it just leads to the fallacious conclusion that the Wings fans don't follow their team in the regular season. All it really says to me is that season ticket holders have a tough time getting rid of their tickets in the regular season. Considering the economy in Michigan and the fact that Detroit sucks, it shouldn't be surprising and it's lol that it always comes up.
