I don't think it's a stretch at all to say Detroit could easily be up 2-1 right now.

I think San Jose has been the better team (although I think Detroit outplayed them overall tonight) but SJ has gotten most of the breaks so far and they've taken advantage of all of those breaks.

Wings are competiting with the Pistons for my viewing time since the seasons are pretty identical. I think I missed 3 or 4 Pistons games this season. There's just noway hockey would win my viewing time even over my 3rd favorite sport, the NBA.

Wings aren't as good as they've been in certain years...no legit rival anymore...plus the fact that regular season hockey (ok hockey in general) is only slightly less boring than soccer.

If there are some tweeks to the game that allow for ~2 more goals to be scored per game on average it may start to get some of the pistons time. ldo that'll never happen though.

6-5 games are the only way.

I mean, I'm happy for the Detroit 2p2 posters, because now at least they've got a generation of awesome Lions teams to look forward to. They've had their Cups, time to move on.

But for the Canadian WAAAAANGZZZZZZZZZ fans I know up here...oh man. I can't wait for this post-Lidstrom era. They've talked way too much **** for way too long. This is gonna be a great decade.

wangs gave up a late goal in game 1 and lost in OT and then the same result tonight. easy could be 2-1 wings but san jose has found a way to win both and kudos to them for that
