What are you going to do against Calder Couture?

yeah Seabrook to Edmonton is definitely a weird one. what does Chicago need, more forward depth? they'd have to get a D back too to help replace the loss of Seabrook. i could see something like:

Penner/Hemsky + Cogliano/Brule + Smid/Vandermeer/Strudwick for Seabrook + something, if there's any truth to this at all.

i mean Cogliano and Brule have kind of plateaued a bit, and now they're just sort of blocking Hall/Eberle/CTRL-V, or simply made redundant by them, so i'd imagine they'd be available. one of Penner/Hemsky makes sense, and throw in a D that the Oilers don't care about, but Chicago sees something in.

and iirc, Millions is the host of the Oilers local coverage for Sportsnet, so he's around the team a ton, and is likely to have a real source on this. what did he say exactly, link?
