It was about 1am for me.

Football is a very violent, primal sport built on adrenaline and disregard for health and human life. It's tribe vs. tribe violence where success is often due to reaching towards your most primal animalistic nature. I would say animal thugs is an appropriate characterization of football players, though I'd agree that a lot of racists watch the sport.

It's interesting that The Last Boy Scout kept coming up itt, because that's what I had in mind watching this game. It wasn't really fun in any sense, it was brutal and violent. I think I may be losing my stomach for football even though my team hasn't had a better chance to go to the SB since we had Montana, and I should be more excited.

I'm a lot more enamored with baseball right now. It can get ugly ever now and then, but there at it's core it's a beautiful game. Of course when the Royals suck again I may feel differently.
