Not sure what comes next though. Gonna say a lot about the NFL.
When this happened in the Euros a few years ago the teams had the option to push it back or continue, I assume that's what's gonna happen here

Probably going to depend on news from the hospital. Who knows though.

No game, and they just play 16??

Impossible to make up the game at this point.

I mean, he's obviously not OK. They wouldn't take this kind of break if they got news that he's ok.

This is terrible.

Unless there is a realistic chance he is going to die I can’t see the NFL postponing. Nfl is a dirty ****ing business

I'm guessing NFL will rule no contest, not a tie.

Closest I recall was Kevin Everett of the Bills about 15 years ago when Dr Cappucino literally saved his life on the field. But this feels a lot worse. IIRC that was MNF or SNF.

It may not happen in my lifetime, but it seems like a matter of time that this game gets outlawed.

I have seen an ambulance on a football field (unlike like what some of these commentators are saying) at least once. And how many sports, have an ambulance in the stadium?

Yeah it's a violent game no doubt. Almost every week there's a hit where I'm surprised the guy gets up.

But if he is dead and they cancel the game...what does that do to fantasy matchups.

I was outside listening to Westwood One…..just hearing it was scary enough. They kept saying helmet-to-helmet.

Upon seeing the play, he sure seemed to take a big hit to the chest. Totally clean but a very forceful hit.

Bad bad bad, hoping for the best.

yes. it was a hit to his chest. it is clear on the replay

also, when an athlete collapses (in a non-contact sport) or gets up and collapses in a contact sport like that, it is 99.9% bc of the heart
