Pretty much this.

Anyone here old remember how skinny Jermaine O'Neal was? Garnett? Chandler?

None of them was 205lbs, kevin garnett was a 3-4 when he started. Noel will & can only play center.

Dude frame wont ever put on much muscle, you dont get to be 19-20 year old in the american high school system where you probably have been hitting the gym for years & expect for them to put on 40-50lbs since going pro unless they are roiding.

205lbs bro, 205 freaking pounds at 6'10, that is so small its not even funny.

How old we're you when KG or JO came out of HS? Garnett was listed as light as 215 when he came out of HS and as tall as 7'1". True, they lined him up at 3 early on but he was pretty much a 7' MKG--sub-standard offensive perimeter skills but a beast near the hoop on either end. Durant her certainly was not.

Chandler and O'Neal also gained a solid 40lbs over the course of their careers, and there is no reason to think Noel can't. If Austin Daye can gain almost 30 lbs, Noel certainly can.

And not every hs hoops star hits the weight room like Dwight Howard.

noel was only 18 playing at kentucky, there was clear evidence of muscle mass gains in a short video of him working out that i saw earlier this year, and i think i read that he was up to around 230 in jan/feb.

also having a guy sit out for an entire season seems like a great time to get a guy on a "supplement" program and minimize PED testing risks. maybe that's part of of the noel/embiid/saric draft and wait strategy and they are all going to look suspiciously jacked when they finally join the team.

Kg yea was 215-220lbs & started at the 3 as i said, transitioned into a 4 later on. Noel starts at 205 and can only play center.

In recent pictures it looks like noel has put on size but still i just dont see him being big enough to play center with that small ass frame in some lineups without roiding(which i guess is allowed in the nba).

I mean i guess he can do it but has to work pretty hard in the gym & diet.

Should probably wait until they've played more than zero minutes of NBA ball before declaring these as stellar picks.

Hes a pro athlete with chefs cooking him gourmet meals everyday while making millions of dollars. He should work hard but I don't think its that difficult.

Yeah, no matter how much you want to swoon over Hinkie's analytics/tanking acumen, Nerlens and Embiid would've both gone #1 even to the lolCavs if not for extremely serious injuries. I don't think Hinkie has a stat program to regrow knee ligaments, and if Noel has lost any athleticism at all he's a scrub.

Noel doesn't even need to be athletic to be a viable rotation guy imho

He's on his rookie deal, if he really going to have a personal chef?.

Also even if he does, he has to put in the work in the gym & have the discipline to eat right.

Alot of these players dont have the discipline for success & with someone like noel who's just along way to go i could see him not working out in the nba, but we will see.

I would imagine that for a top pick like him, even if he wasn't willing to hire one, the team would provide one, or is that against the CBA?

I watched a little of Jabari's press conference in Milwaukee and it seemed like he might have been reading the criticisms of his weight.

The press conference was held in big market with food vendors downstairs and seating upstairs, rather than at the Bradley Center. Don't remember the exact question, but it was probably something like, "What does it mean to you to have this sort of reception?" Some crap like that. He said, and if IIRC, he had a little smirk when he said it, that he loved that this event was in a market.

Noel is, by far, the current most overrated player in the league.

Possibly in all sports.

He seems to have worked hard from everything out of sixers land. You can still eat things that taste like what you really like but have it done in a much healthier way. Of course he is going to have gourmet and healthy meals cooked for him considering his weight is one of the most important aspects of his development.

Norris Cole had a private chef that was killed during the finals this year. Norris Cole. This is the last meal that was prepared for Cole: "a sweet potato frittata, summer salad with raspberry vinaigrette, turkey sausage and a beet juice."

Noel and Embiid will be eating much, much better. I am more worried about Embiid who, like Dwight Howard, is obsessed with eating candy and apparently drinking pink lemonade. It has to more or less stop.

Zach LaVine High School Stats

he only averaged 2.5 assists and 0.6 steals per game as a senior. lol at the scouts who said he could play PG, most PG's average 5-7ish. and how can you be that tall + athletic and not at least get 1 steal/game in HS? honestly at this point i'm like 99% convinced he's a complete and utter scrub and will be massively surprised if he ever amounts to anything. i honestly believe ougie has more upside.

Just another dumb wolves pick is all it was, you can always count on spurs to draft well and wolves to do the opposite pretty much.
