Some of these takes...oh Lord! I can’t be the only one...Yeah Dana would totally let Conor leave to Bellator. I was never a big fan of Mcgregor, but some of you are obviously biased.
Conor is selling the fight. UFC champions were making 6k/6k before Conor. Ask any fighter that made 9 figures if Conor is a joke.
In the first fight, Dustin knew exactly what was coming, and still got landed on flush in the face. He was nearly out. I’m no expert but that tells me Conor’s striking must be in another level. You know exactly what’s coming and still can’t get out of the way of it. I don’t believe that Conor can’t take guys out at the higher weight classes. 36 year old Nate Diaz just took everything the #2 WW had and the guy couldn’t take him out in 5 rounds.
You guys have me cheering for Conor in this one. Porier is going to sleep this time if he can’t avoid his pea head getting landed in the first round. That’s a recipe for disaster, unless you’re a ND.
Nasty leg break for Mcgregor. With that said, Mcgregor looks like he was in great shape in this fight if anything but the reality is that Poirier has improved a lot in the last 4 years while Mcgregor hasn't.
When I saw Conor falling over I immediately thought he had blown his knee out, could see his leg just buckle when he tried to put weight on it. Career over now.
Coming back from a leg break in like a year from now to fight Poirier also makes no sense. Maybe he comes back next summer and fight Diaz in a trilogy and if he loses just retire.
