Thats what actually makes me sad...
It is kind like wow a super fight between 2 legends...
Like Conor did as much as GSP...

That's why I said it would take him a year and half away from MW, he'd want to go slow losing that weight. He has said he can make LW in the past and he wasn't a huge WW so he probably could if given time. It would mean abandoning the MW division or putting it on hold for a ridiculous amount of time but we know the UFC will be on board with whatever makes them the most money so I can easily see it happening.

They could easily fight at Welter for no title.

I think Dana wants to restore some order in the weight classes. Since Ferguson won the interim belt Dana has been asked about the next fight multiple times and he hasnt even entertained any fight idea except for McGregor vs Ferguson. In the buildup to GSP vs Bisping the talk was the winner fights Whittaker and in the post fight press conference Dana said that was the next fight.

I think you can bypass the top contender if a different fight looks like it will be more exciting/make more money but when you have an interim champion I dont think you can have any other fight but Champ vs Interim Champ.

Dana said gsp was staying at mw post fight. Thing is I don't believe a word he says ever.

Cody really ****ed up losing to TJ. If he won that his draw would have grown a ton. IDK how he lost that.

Also, even though Bisping lost you can tell he enjoyed the hell out of that fight.

GSP an old man and I doubt anyone really wants to see another clown show featuring him and McG.

If it happens it's just one more reason not to give a **** about the UFC brand as it'll be just one step away from WWE.

One legend and one old man.

You're right that GSP has done far more **** in the cage (lots of it quite boring to watch btw) than Mc, but the number of eyes and $$$$ Mc brought to the UFC far outweighs the good work GSP did previously.

--

4 years out and 36 years old, Yeah let's hype him up to high heaven only to see him get his ass whooped by the new bright things.

Nope, not what I watch UFC for.

Who knows what will happen, but I at least give GSP credit for knowing what he can and can't do. Doesn't mean that he won't get smashed, or that he doesn't need/want lots of money, but he doesn't seem delusional.

36 is old , ilmao....
Btw the card been said to totally smash 1 million ppv, guess gsp has nothing to do with it to ...
Was the fight boring vs bisping?
I mean you can dislike a fighter without saying nonsense ....

He looked like an old fighter. A complete shadow of himself. Dont think this is very controversial.

No the fight wasn't boring but it was far far removed from the very top level of MMA. Bisping always been ****e, GSP was the man but his time has come and gone.

Last edited by unwantedguest; 11-06-2017 at 02:10 PM. Reason: 36 years old returning from a 4 year layoff, I'm gonna stick with old man fighting if you don't mind.

Mc wouldn't have stood a chance v old GSP. Lol I don't hate him at all. Just not fussed on seeing old men get brain damaged for fun.

Not sure him v Mc could happen at a weight suitable for both of them.

Of course but he's just fought 3 weight classes above where McGregor was less than 2 years ago.

See, now I actually wanna see this fight because there are people ITT thinking Mc wouldn’t get ground and pounded to death.

We must be reading different threads, cos I've not seen one person let alone 'people' say they think Mc wouldn't get stuffed by GSP.

Please no gsp vs mcgregor

Mcgregor vs ferguson
Gsp vs whitaker

What a card. I've only been watching ufc for 2-3 years but that was the best one I ever saw.
Rose with the upset awesome and cody vs TJ was amazing. That one could have really gone either way, TJ was in trouble end of the first round. TJ vs DJ and then rematch tj cody please.

I think Bisping deserves much more respect, put up a great fight. Refused to tap, went to sleep. What a warrior

Nah, I agree with TJ on this one, Cody doesn't deserve a rematch right away, he got finished in the 2nd round, while TJ wasn't granted the rematch after a very close fight v Cruz.

F*ck GSP v Conor freak show, I like Conor, but that was it imo. You got the shot at the 155 belt without actually fighting in that division in the UFC, 2 fights with Nate, Floyd, made all the money, but it's time to defend the belt. Wouldn't mind a rematch with Max/Frankie afterwards, either.

I wish both Conor and Dana White retired tbh so we can stop with all this nonsense that has been happening lately.
Conor now wants partnership to fight again, after that he will probably demand to bang Mrs.White to fight again and Dana will pretend to be outraged at first but in the end will allow it lol

I don't see the problem with him getting a % given his draw. He's worth it and look at the other ****s who have a %.

1st round goes 10 more seconds and Cody wins.

He still took a 2nd rd KO in a division that never has KO's at the highest level. By that standard, it was a very decisive victory for TJ. And Cody isn't a GSP/Silva/BJ Penn where he just gets an immediate rematch because he has dominated the division for so long. It was his first title defense and he lost.

I wouldn't do a rematch either. Let them go their own way for a little but and maybe they meet up again in a year or two.
