I dont see why DC would agree to a title fight on 3 days notice. If it was a title fight i think it would have been main event.

I cant remember which site i watched it on today but one reporter said he heard rumblings as far as last week that UFC had Silva on stand by incase he had to fill in on the card. Silva might be in better shape going into tonights fight than we would expect. My guess is he still doesnt have a great chance but im rooting for him.

Much more than that, not sure about your american odds but about 7.0 before the fight. It may have even been 8ish.

I feel like the main event is wrong, it's the one fight i'm not interested in. I won't be sticking around for it.

I see Cat was -175, Pena +155

Means you lay 175 to win 100 in US terms

Pena was +156 iirc

I think the odds on Betfair were longer than +155. Admittedly I didn't pay much attention as the women's fights aren't of much interest to me.

I think that its good to have title fights main event and that was the last title fight on the card. The only time in recent memory that a non title fight headlined a card when another fight on the card was a title fight, was McGregor vs Diaz. Thats an obvious exception to the rule because McGregor held a title at the time and was/is the biggest draw they have.

Cain showing off some good techniques and looking dominant. Browne looks like he's trying to win it with one punch.

Cain whooped his ass man. Not even competitive.

I've never seen him put those kind of kicks out there either. He looks like peak Cain. Nice boxing, nice takedowns and control, and even a few big kicks!

Cain gets winner of Werdum/Reem?

Unless Brock wins and just smashes then I could see him getting it.

Crazy Aldo/Edgar is about to come on and the PPV just started, feels weird lol

I bet on Cain and I wouldn't have stopped that fight.

Aldo/Edgar is basically the exact picture of 'Power and Finishing and Lethality' vs 'Speed and Movement and Endurance'.

Aldo doesn't look mentally ready. He doesn't seem pumped up.

Well it's lasted longer than Aldo's last fight.

really close round imo. not sure how to score it.

Aldo's footwork started off looking really stiff. He's started to loosen up towards end of R1.

both rounds close. Edgar with more volume, and pressing, but Aldo is dodging or deflecting 90% of Frankie's shots. Aldo landing fewer but much harder shots.

Aldo probably won second round if judges are paying attention, but judges are gonna matter a lot here. Frankie has so much movement he can fool you into thinking he's doing well.

Aldo's defense last two rounds pretty great. He has matrix'd Edgar a couple times.

Have this 2-2.

War Edgar!

Aldo way more clinical but not doing near enough.
