All true but still gonna happen. DC wins vs Brock then they will set up DC vs Jones 3.

Wow DC looks enormous at heavyweight. He hits like a ton of bricks. It was hard to watch Stipe lose like that but everyone’s human

yeah that makes sense as far as trajectory goes.

DC vs Brock in Dec then DC vs Jones around this time next year

DC says he will retire by March & won't compete past that, he made a promise to his family that he will retire at age 40. He does plan on fighting Brock & Lesnar though, the Lesnar fight is probably in November & the Jones fight in March. DC will retire a very accomplished & rich man.

Guessing his family will be fine with him pushing it back to June/July range for Jones HW superfight.

Have zero interest in Cormier/Jones.

Jones is a piece of **** and should never fight again.

Who do you wanna see DC fight next then?

Gus? He barely fights, don't think he's earned that at all.

Hard to say. Thing is if Ngannou won by KO, him fighting Cormier would be an interesting fight. But since Ngannou is a ***** or threw the fight, that wouldn't work.

I don't want to see Jones because the outcomes in the previous two fights were pretty decisive. Wasn't like it was close or a lucky shot. Not everyday that one person wins the first two fights and then there's a trilogy.

I'd like to see Stipe get another crack at Cormier.

But this time the rub could be that DC has this sick newfound power at HW. He was hitting Jones in the 2nd fight before the head kick. Also, the rub would be that Jones is now off the drugs.

There just isn't really any logical fight for DC after the Brock fight besides Jones.

Except Jones isn't and everybody knows it.

Jones testing negative only means that he tested negative for currently banned substances.

Also why would Jones fight at HW? He won the first two. Why should he decide to be subject to Cormier's whims? Cormier needs Jones way more than Jones needs Cormier.

Cormier doesn't need Jones at this point. He has Brock next, and after that a possible rematch of tonights fight.

Cormier vs. Jones 3 won't happen. Cormier would retire (well deserved) before giving Jones a 3rd chance at not being a legit POS and that would do nothing to tarnish Cormier's legacy.

Cormier has put Jones so far behind him he has no reason to let the fraud that Jones is back into the octagon with him.

Jones had his chance, and even though Jones "won" the fights, Jones ultimately lost by being a POS cheater.

Jones, if he wants to build his career, is going to have to go through someone other than Cormier. Jones had his chance, and he ****ed it up. Cormier doesn't owe or need anything from Jones.

Yes, I get that like Jones, Brock has tested positive for PED's in the past.

Cormier gets the big money fight vs. Brock, If Cormier wins vs. Brock, Cormier will consider and ultimately accept the rematch vs. Miocic.

Cormier will then retire after the rematch regardless of the outcome. Cormier will never consider another Jones fight ever no matter what the money on the table is.

Jones for sure confirmed as the GOAT at this point. That fight for more for him than any of his own fights.

If Cormier loses to Brock, I could see Cormier vs Jones 3.

otherwise I see....

Cormier vs Brock.

if Cormier wins,

Cormier vs. Miocic

/retire

I feel Cormier has two more fights left in him, and those are the outcomes.

he has repeatedly said he needs to be retired by his next birthday. today he again spoke about the possibility of november and march fights, but time is running out.

personally i think if he beats brock and the jon jones rematch isn't available then he will retire.

If Cormier didn't have those 2 loses to JJ would be calling him the GOAT? He would be undefeated, two weight champ, champ in both Strikeforce & the UFC + the names on his resume are very high profiled.

Really chuffed for DC - don’t think anyone deserves it more. You could see he really enjoyed that moment.

Thought Brock was completely classless in the cage (tho tbf Ngannou did look like **** and should be called out for his performance). Hope DC schools him.

Don’t mind seeing DC and Stipe run it twice but not interested in seeing JJ back in the cage vs anyone. I have no respect for the dude.

The only fight DC seems to have his heart set on is Brock and only other ones he mentioned he would entertain are Jones, Gus or Stipe. He probably wants to one up Conor and not only be a 2 weight champ but defend both so provided Gus beats Oezdemir and looks impressive id guess he would fight Gus this year then fight Brock next year once he clears with USADA then retires on his 40th birthday.

Maybe he could be talked into extending the retirement deadline to fight Jones but dont think he would do it for anyone else. Sucks for Stipe as he probably deserves a chance at getting his belt back but cant see where a fight with him and DC fits into DC's timeline.

HW tourney like Bellator

1st round:

Gus vs Jones
Dc vs Brock
Cain vs werdum
Odez vs Stipe

Finals headline a joint wrestlemania/Ufc event

as someone who only watches 3-4 cards a year, I really enjoyed that and all the wwe **** afterwards too. I know a lot of people hated it, but i was sports entertained

Feel bad for Stipe that he's going to miss the payday but bring on the circus of DC vs Brock.

Can't wait to see DC bully and get inside on Lesnar, it's going to be quite the visual

Yup and that's what makes JJ GOAT.

If DC/Brock do fight I think there will be another big title fight on that card. Maybe the MW or WW belts, maybe Dillashaw/Cody winner and Mighty Mouse.

DC/Brock has potential to be bad and short and I'm sure Dana will be well aware of that.
