Looking at everything as it stands right now, this conference should get 7 teams in.

Here are my current power rankings. I don't think Missouri gets enough publicity, they're 20-7 and 8-4 in what I believe is the best RPI Conference in America. Add to that they have two gimmies and 2 chances to get a statement win coming up and I could see them creeping into ~5-6 seed range if they finish 3-1. They manage 2-2 and they shouldn't be worse than a 7 seed.

In all seriousness this years OU team has to be one of the weirdest teams I have ever seen. They have the individual talent of a top 20 team but together they are barely a top 200 team it seems.

wheeeeeee we stay ranked in bof polls, bears drop out of the Coaches poll but remain #24 in the AP. That means two more games against ranked teams this week, ****ing brutal. Dash has been dealing with a hurt hand for a month now and it's really hurt our offensive efficiency, it's gone from mediocre to downright laughable but we're still defending, making every game ugly, and trying to make just enough plays late to win.

Not sure how much Balbay being out hurts the sips, Brown is certainly more of a threat on the offensive end but nowhere near as good a defender.

I have to admit I wanted that W last night way more than this one coming up Saturday. Not only would it be nice to sweep the cubs but a road win vs. Baylor is much bigger this year than home win vs. Texas. I look at Baylor and wonder why in the world were they ranked 10th by the coaches in the Big12 this year and also how good would they be w/ someone besides Drew at the helm. Obviously recruiting would suffer if someone with morals came in but they just play so undisciplined it's ridiculous.

Any you Texas insiders hearing anything about Brown, I couldn't tell if he was out or not but that was pretty scary.

Refs in this KU/OSU game are AWFUL.

They called 3 seconds earlier, on DVR it was like... 2 seconds and he might have been out of the lane when they called it.

Man, he hit his head hard. And it snapped back off the floor, too. Gotta think it's a concussion and possibly whiplash or a stinger. Fortunately he was moving his arms and legs, but the way they took him off the floor so carefully was awfully concerning.

OU @ Texas tonight, every big Monday game has either had KU, tu, or OU in it this year. TMG better put up 50 if the Sooners want a shot at the upset. In other Texas news, they remain ranked 25th in the ESPN poll but fall to 26th in the AP Poll. Baylor is 21/22, A&M 22/23, Kansas 2/2 and KSU 5/5. Looks like we're back to having a two-team conference. Don't think the Big Monday game affected the sips ranking at all, not like the ESPN poll has ever been called out for its ridiculous bias in the past.

Other poll notes, Mizzou gets no respect, same for their coach. Anderson doing a helluva job but will probably fall short to Martin for Coach of the Year. OkieLite got a nice boost from the KU win and is 29th in the AP Poll.

Conference shakes things up this week with 3 Tuesday games but they all suck. However, they could all be competitive as Baylor goes to Tech, Colorado battles Nebraska for cellar bragging rights, and Mizzou visits Iowa State. Wednesday is the big day, obviously the big boys at ESPN knew what they were doing earlier in the year when they decided to broadcast the OSU/A&M game over the KSU/KU game, real smart guys.

I can't imagine picking anyone to beat Baylor before the Sweet 16, obviously that might change depending on the bracket, but it's hard to imagine. Baylor is the third best team in a very good conference. (Sorry aggy, but I think Baylor's slightly stronger)

Also, Texas sucks. I have never hated a Longhorn team before, but I hate this lazy, sloppy, uncaring ****ing team. There's no excuse for such a talented bunch to go 9-7 in the conference except that they simply don't give a ****. I am thoroughly disgusted with this team.
