i just don't get where this notion that vernon davis and/or anquan boldin should be enough for a qb to succeed on any given week when you have quite literally nothing else after them. the niners receiving depth was appallingly bad last year and has somehow regressed enormously. you don't need an entire depth chart of all-pros, but you do at least need more than 2 people with legitimate nfl worth. i mean, i'm surprised kaepernick hasn't done worse to this point

Some people are slow learners. Guessing Freeman is one of those people. Doesn't help the Vikings either than Freeman and Ponder are basically polar opposites which is a tough adjustment for the receivers. I'm guessing the offense won't look this bad again all season.

i still maintain that when evaluating kaepernick's season thus far the colts game needs to be thrown out. no qb was ever succeeding in those settings. lowest deep% of any start he's had in his career, 2nd lowest AYPA to that abomination in seattle. when you're forced to throw 19 of your 27 passes to the worse of the 2 bad celeks, vance mcdonald, gore, bruce miller, kendall hunter, kyle williams (6 ****ing times to kyle williams), and the other 8 are forced to a double covered anquan boldin, you can't be surprised when the results are awful

Having watched most of the colts games over the last two years, wayne was the only sure handed receiver the had. Time to trade a second round pick for a short guy who can catch or maybe check who is available out on the street.

Luck not one of those flashy, hip, athletic QBs that sells jerseys. He's a lunchpail guy. Respect from his teammates and wins in the victory column are all he needs. He's focused on being a positive locker room presence, not doing nude offseason photoshoots.

Yeah that post is pretty dumb/trollish. You can do nude photo shoots and other endorsement related things and not have if affect your team.

Peyton is probably the best example.
