Comparing Tebow to Montana ad Jordan at this point in time is just so LOL. You do know the meaning of the words "sample size" right?

Feel free to go on record now, and predict that next season (or hey, why not for the rest of his career), Tebow's stats for the last 2 minutes of regulation compared to his stats for the rest of the time will be similar to what those stats are this year.

LOL.
I suggest to be lighthearted, meaning that we can have a good debate without being *******s and calling each other's arguments "******ed" or LOLing at them. If you are correct in an argument then you should be able to show why. Adding in condescending insults just reeks of someone who isn't confident that their argument is strong enough to stand on its own.

Keep in mind this entire argument is about clutchness and has nothing to do with overall talent level. Please show me some analysis proving that Jordan and Montana played significantly better in clutch moment than non-clutch moments.

Eric Mangini, though I often disagree, has the studio presence I wished was embraced. One can disagree without raising their voice and being a clown. Calm, explained his reasoning, went beyond trite phrases, evaluated actual merits of things, and so on.

That's the way I die to have shows present things. Calm, reasonable discussion.

I realize this is why a large number on this forum think 'u mad' any time someone disagrees, they are used to sportstalk radio and sportstalk tv with the silly loud noises. They aren't used to the way Mangini and Ritchie talked today.

Actually, when you suggest to be "lighthearted", what you mean is "People should laugh at and enjoy my trolling." Never mind when, for example, you take a **** on someone's draft, and the work they put into setting up and running it, because of your need for attention.

You really shouldn't be allowed to post about Tebow at all. You made all these posts about how great he was after his first couple of starts, then you admitted you were trolling, and now that he's winning you want to go back and say you were on his side all along. Can't have it both ways.

Pi is now 3.16159. Get a new calculator.

This also means the 2d circle does not exist as we knew it before. Not sure the ramifications of that. Will wait for follow-up email.

You might want to avoid NFL Network then. Deion and Michael Irvin have obviously been given a directive to yuck it up and basically just act like hyper-active kids on the playground.

Holy **** this. It's completely unwatchable. I expect that coach who is on there (forget his name) to walk off the set every time I see it.

Deion Sanders has the attention level of a 6 year old at a theme park who has been eating cotton candy all day. Just atrociously bad.

Whoever got the idea to sit him and Irvin next to eachother needs to be fired. At the very least you have to put them 1 seat apart. They're like giggly schoolgirls anytime the camera is on them.

Yesterday was the first day in months I switched back to ESPN to get my fix of football analysis. That's pathetic when you think about it.

OK then.

Are you willing to say that next season Tebow's stats for the last 2 minutes of regulation compared to his stats for the rest of the time will be similar to what those stats are this year?

My contention is that Jordan and Montana had long careers and analysing their stats is not unreasonable. Tebow however has played less than one full season and one playoff game therefore the sample size is not meaningful.

Agree? Disagree?

If you disagree then please show some statistical analysis proving your point.

Mangini was ****ing dead right when SKip said, "you are coaching them. you wouldnt start him?"

Mangini said in a cool calm voice. "what are my choices? and who is out there available?"

A bet between city mayors over their sports teams is not new, but after the Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Denver Broncos, Mayor Luke Ravenstahl from Pittsburgh had to pay up his bet in an unconventional manner. Instead of sending signature foods to Denver, Ravenstahl paid off his bet with Denver Mayor Michael Hancock by donning a Broncos jersey and Tebowing.
We should all be thankful that Denver won, because the presumed alternative of Denver's mayor having to rape some teenager in a bar bathroom is clearly much worse.
