Just a a nice site which i will host on my own server. I was thinking about making accounts just for the people who submit the mods.

Of course it's still an idea so i don't know much about it yet either ^^

Like I said before, it would be nice to have a server where we could upload a .zip file and a thumbnail of the images. Right now we have to upload 7 images individually and set up the wiki page.

I think if you make a site where we can upload zip files and thumbnails it'll make things easier.

The old way of hosting at image shack and posting here, was a bit of a pain. But, at least they have a toolbar to upload multiple files at once.

The current method is more organized, for the end user. But it is a huge pain in the butt for those of us posting a lot of deck mods.

It takes me at least twice as long to upload, post to wiki, and then post to 2p2 - as it did b4 the wiki. Even with it taking more time, this is a better system. I am just going to be a lot more selective of what I post. I will also want to test them myself, for a while before posting them.

I am open to any possible options, that would make it faster to host/post.

I think that table's really baller, is it possible to get a couple of different background colors? Specifically Red, Green, and Blue
05-28-2007 , 12:35 PM
Everything in this thread is awesome. Would anyone be willing to try and make a deck like this? (It took me over an hour just to get this far cause I don't know how to use photoshop lol) Its pretty much the same layout as the stars alternative deck. Thanks.

I can provide a server where you can put up a few GB of zips/images (and bandwidth shouldn't be a problem). You can just link to the files or you can set up html page/s with links and send people directly to the page. PM me if you want to do this and I'll set up a user account for you guys (fozzy71, DWarrior, others who need to post) and then you can start uploading via FTP.

Thanks, and thanks toohigh for the quick colors.

I was thinking of taking it one step further - I already removed the chiprack thing from the original RT table and made it black...how about making it a tad smaller? moving the rounded corners in towards the middle so the player boxes in seat 2 and 5 barely overlap the table.

What do you think?

there is no topping 5.4 with the paizley backs.
Sarcasm

You havent seen the backs I am workin on for the next deck, yet. Kem Pantheon - and might try and put a FT logo on them .

I dont really care for those Mehndi backs - but i know some people want red/blue+black. I copied a ton of new backs to possibly use. I posted them on my MSN Live Space Page
no sarcasm. your cardmods have become better and better to the point where I think FTP and Ps too should make it (5.4) the default 4 color deck.

keep it up. hopefully you end up getting payed??

TYVM - Very kind of u to say.

Any particular backs, that you would like to see on V5.4 - for yourself? I posted a copy of all the backs I downloaded so far at my MSN Page .

I would be glad to do a set of 5.4 for you, with whatever backs you would care for. V5.4 is my favorite as well - so far.

Try it and see, I think it'll look good.

I started trying to make my own tables today also, from scratch. I am thinking of trying an ellipse like yours....but make it as big as possible.

Or possibly... just big enough to fit the community cards and chips.

I think you should make your own table (racetrack style),so it is as clean as can be. That table u used, had some of the fuzziness from the edges of the original FT table, because they use a separate table image to overlay on the default backgrounds. I think it would look more clear and crisp, if it was all from scratch, original work. More like the ellipse tables that you made.

Just my opinion. I have replaced almost all of my old RT tables, with all Everlong tables. Keep up the great work.

Hey fozzy did you get my pm? I just sent it but it's not showing in my outgoing box so i don't know.
05-28-2007 , 11:13 PM
Can anyone put the backs from these cards in Fozzy's 5.0C deck? I've tried, but I'm only working w/MS Paint and I end up w/ green borders and it looks pretty cruddy. Thanks for any help!

Everlong,

http://poker.wikia.com/images/1/16/B...x-Everlong.jpg

How much do you want to make a table like this for Classic view? Preferably one with the color the way you have it or similar, and then also one with the same table and an all-black background. No table at all might work too if you just had the Full Tilt logo fading nicely into black somehow.

Right now I just use a solid grey rectangle (which I like better than every Classic table I could find, and may use no matter what as it's hard to imagine how anything could "work" better).

I like classic view better and find it better for PAHUD. The seats look better than Race Track too IMO, and I never messed with Full Tilt Shortcuts to see if I could use modded player boxes. I know the thought originally was that they might only offer Race Track in the future, but I just don't find this that likely. Discontinue a style (that some people clearly prefer) that they've offered for a long time now now just to avoid updating the graphics? I wouldn't know, I just find it less likely than OP does (though I certainly understand not wanting to spend time making mods to help others out when they'll become useless in the future).

Let me know if you'd be willing to do what I requested for a price. I'd like to have a couple options other than the grey. I understand if not and thanks for sharing the Race Track table.

I could prolly make some (similar) backs to those. I wouldnt want to cut/paste them. But I can try and get close to that look.

In fact, I have some I made for another requester, that are very similar.

Hopefully he is still reading this thread. I forget who it was, but I just made this Red a bit darker than the last preview. .

No promises on how soon I will do it - but i wrote it on my "to-do" list. Keep in mind, that there are quite a few requests on my list.

i am stuck on 5.x like a stalker, but this 7.x is real good. add the bright backs and 7.x will be a very good alternate on the right table.
05-29-2007 , 01:31 AM
The bright backs were actually on those cards - I deleted that layer- when I decided to try those MFG backs.

It will prolly take me a half hour to put those solid backs on the cards3.psd, and make a new deck from the existing one. Then about the same time to post/code at wiki. I was planning on putting solid backs on those, as that is my standard back. Then I found all these cool MFG card backs, and couldn't help myself.

I am assuming you are referring to the 7.3K that I put on the The Wikia Page . There are some other 7.x in this thread, just want to be sure you mean the 7.3K at wikia.

Most people seemed to have gravitated toward one or two of a select few of my (many) decks. It seems they have a lot wider range of what they think the proper card back is. Luckily the backs are the easiest tweak to do to an existing deck.
05-29-2007 , 02:40 AM
OK - Please don't laugh. My first table from scratch. I honestly didn't spend enough time on it at all. It needs a padded rail - at the very least.

But I wanted to see how it looked with a really over-sized table.

Let me know what you think.

Version 0.1

@fozzy
thanks but I am seriously really happy with 5.4 and the paizley backs. the only thing I think has potential of getting better is the font itself. but i on't have any better suggestions.
you are right about tables from scratch but I am teh lazy

@a nonymous
I don't have the original background for the bordeaux table saved so I made a new similar gradient. are these what you meant?

(if you feel like contributing to teh gambling it's TheMcAnic on FTP.)

edit: check the wikia I added some alternatives

Agreed.

I know there are better fonts out there. That was the best one I could find on my PC. I have looked a few times on web sites. That is not any fun.

Considering emailing a font site for help finding one possibly, but I am lazy too.

Version 7.3Y

- Yellow spade characters
- Solid Backs

05-29-2007 , 03:43 AM
Why the need for table outlines, rails etc? Why not as simple as this:

A monotone background makes everything easy on the eye and easy to place PAhud numbers exactly where you want them (not shown, posting this from wrong computer).
