Chris Matthews rarely makes sense to me.

He's jabbering about how Bridget will feel that she can't beat Christie in court. Wat?

All she has to do is testify and tell the truth. She doesn't have to beat him.

Matthews just spews weird stuff all the time. Plus he interrupts and talks over people all the time.

DKay is firmly establishing himself in the pantheon of all-time terrible posters.

The Barney avatar is just so, so perfect.

When I first saw someone mention Dkay in the turrible poasters thread, I figured they were talking about dkgo.

As chief of staff for the FALCON 2016! election campaign I want to formally apologize for bringing up Lawrence O'donnell's boner earlier in the thread. FALCON had no knowledge of the aforementioned boner. All bonergate questions can be directed to our press secretary Mexibastardhawk.

Now, several fundraisers and donors said, the smart money is sitting back and waiting to see how the bridge scandal unfolds, potentially giving an advantage to prospective 2016 rivals in their efforts to win megadonor support.

One GOP finance operative who has met with Christie acknowledged that it’s been a major topic of conversation among top donors, with even Christie boosters worried about its impact. Christie’s marathon apology press conference last week did little to quiet such concerns, according to the operative, who said several donors noted Christie’s references to his own embarrassment. “I had a donor say well ‘Who gives a sh— about you? What about all the people who are stuck on the bridge?” the operative said.

Florida Governor Rick Scott Must Have A Political Death Wish ...

Sent this to a buddy of mine who lives down in Florida.

Dickford:

This is the kind of thing you read and say to yourself: "You've got to be kidding!"

http://www.politico.com/story/2014/0...nd-102248.html

That moron who is your Governor is holding a fundraiser Saturday night in West Palm Beach. Who did he pick to "headline" his fundraiser? Yep, you guessed it ... none other than embattled New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

Rick Scott must really want to go back into private practice running hospitals and ripping off Medicare. (Ken Langone, the super rich fat cat who founded Home Depot, says he thinks Christie has done a "great job" handling Bridgegate and showing everybody that he doesn't want "those kind of people" [his former aides] around him. Unbelievable ...)

This is a perfect illustration of how tone deaf and out-of-touch many of the folks in the privileged class really are. (I suppose all those "rich donors" will invite Mitt Romney back to reprise his "47 percent" remarks.)

LOL

Wildstein's lawyer reiterated today that his client is willing to talk in exchange for immunity, stating that Wildstein can challenge the credibility of statements that have been made by others.

Remember, Wildstein was an avid political blogger with employees for maybe a decade or so.

I was thinking Wildstein might keep his mouth shut for a payoff, but it looks like Wildstein has figured out that, if he gets immunity, he can spill the beans, walk free, and he will easily ink a book deal for minimum $5 million, as he was at the center of this one. Lena Dunham signed one for 3.5 and Hillary signed one for ocho.cinco.

And it turns out that Baroni (other guy who resigned from PA) brought Wildstein in, not Christie. I was thinking that Chrisite and Wildstein were close buddies, but perhaps Christie told the truth when he said they are not, and why Christie looked concerned, nay, terrified when talking about his relationship with Wildstein. Wildstein was described by his coach as a stats nerd on Christie's baseball team, and I imagine that Christie was the same bully back then that he is now.

Perhaps it is time for Wildstein to settle some old scores, destroy Christie and his career, and pocket millions while he's at it. I can see Christie making this Wildstein's life miserable back then, nuclear wedgies and all that bully crap. If that's the case, Christie could absolutely be destroyed. If Christie was in fact boinking Bridget, you can bet it will be in Wildstein's book. Either way, Wildstein is definitely writing a book and selling it for millions. This is NY/NJ -- the market is huge. wow wow wow

This is starting to make sense. I could never understand why Wildstein would turn over emails he knew were incriminating. And so many documents. Not sure how that works. Yeah, they are stored on servers, but I don't understand how the requesting authority can verify that what you gave them is all you have without searching the servers.

In the meantime, Christie has lawyered-up, hiring Randy Mastro, a former US prosecutor who specialized in organized crime, Southern District of New York.

LOL LOL LOL

You're crazy if you think he gets 5 mill guaranteed on some book deal. Or you don't understand how these deals work.

He may get a couple hundo grand if he keeps back some really really juicy details.

Scooby said, "Ruh roh" not "STOP THE PRESSES".

Scooby definitely wants to keep the presses running 24/7.

“He has got a big problem, because perception is everything — perception is reality,” said Stan Hubbard, a billionaire Minnesota media mogul who is flying in for Sunday’s event. “I’m sure he’s an honorable, decent guy, but I wonder how the hell did he let this happen. I mean, who did he hire? What kind of idiot? It’s just ridiculous. How stupid.”

lol...are you joking?

Jack Welch got $7 million. Do you even know who he is?

Tina Fey got 5. Bubba got 15.

Palin -- 1.5...lol airheads.
01-17-2014 , 08:54 PM
He kinda has a point if Palin got 1.5 I would put Wildstien at .75 milly with back end. Palin was a fricken superstar for a couple of minutes Wildstien is a goober.

The book won't be about Wildstein, it will be about Christie and corrupt New Jersey politics. If General Samson, the Port Authority billions, and the $25 billion Sandy Relief cash are involved, forgetaboutit.

Let alone movie rights, speaking fees, etc. Wildstein will be rich, trust me.
01-17-2014 , 09:06 PM
I mean nobody gets 200k. That's just silly. Wildstein made 150k at the Port Authority.
01-17-2014 , 09:09 PM
Amanda Knox got $4 mill.

Tina Fey was advanced $5 mill.

Greenspan was advanced $8.5 million. Alan Greenspan.

Lena Dunham's was a 3.5 advance as well.

I hope your right cuz I want to see the fat man cry when Wildstien spills.

Weinstein Co already on the phone to John goodman to play Christie. Giamatti will play Wildstien. Bridget is kinda homely so we will have to sex that role up with a Johansson or something. We need a title......
