NYT has been fine, everyone has just been ignoring the huge error bars on their estimates. The election is inherently unpredictable because slightly different turnout assumptions have massive consequences.

There's no error bar on a 90% estimate of a binary outcome.

538 has Jones winning now in the count reported so far, unsure how they claim 69% reported while NYT still has Moore up a lot with 78% reported

This needle giving me flashbacks to last November.
NYT needs to significantly increase the strength of their priors in that model. Variance is just too high to give swongs like this.

I'm supposed to be grading final exams right now, but my stress level is too high.
