You don't understand. To Alabamians who vote, reports like these mean that it's working. Only poors and minorities live in poverty. Those plantations are comfy-cozy regardless of how they live in flea bottom or in the quarters.

Nah, things are terrible for most white people in Alabama. They're just idiots.

You do realize that is the exact same argument right-wingers have used for decades to question why people in big cities keep voting Democrat, right?

Some pro-Moore groups are taking an even more pointed approach to energize conservatives. One Moore-aligned group, Restore Our Godly Heritage PAC, is airing commercials on nearly 60 stations around the state accusing Jones of “trying to steal the election with vile, racist ads on black radio.”

“Desperate to steal this Senate race, Jones and his race-hustling allies are trying to start a race war and it’s only going to get worse in the final weekend, with millions of dollars in street money to turn out the vote,” it adds.
But why would talking about a race war animate Conservatives?

That's different though. Reasons and all.

UN has declared democratic states the worst in the develop world for decades? Source?

From my understanding democratic states have out performed republican states in economics & education since I've been an adult.

When conservatives call democratic states 3rd world countries they mostly mean they got black & mexicans in them.

putin helps divisive politicians in the US because he wants to tear our country apart, and roy moore knows it, and he wants to win. is he a traitor for offering to softplay russia in return for foreign assistance in the campaign? yep.

Man, had a second there, when Moore says "You might say America is a focus of evil. We do some bad things," where I was just like: wait, am I about to agree with Roy Moore? Then he just drops it on the reporter, loool. **** Alabama.

Also, PS: If your main takeaway from that was Putin/Russia nonsense, you might want to reevaluate your politics.

i was gonna vote for him before i noticed that russia thing

Also, purchasing power comes from production, something that probably 9 out of 10 Econ MBA's couldn't even tell you.

Those types of people in Alabama, manufacturing type people who like to build things. Those are essentially the types of people who actually made America great in the 19th and 20th century.

That isn't to say liberals with their marketing degrees or law degrees are idiots, but to discount those type of people as having no value to America or having not had value to America is ridiculous. NAFTA took away their manufacturing base... PERIOD. And that is the result of the decline in this country... because.... say it with me..... purchasing power comes from production.

A welder with no college education is more educated than a doctor at welding and a doctor is more educated at being a doctor than a welder is. The education argument comes down to being educated in the constitution and what made this county great.... which is freedom. Understanding freedom is the education that many lack.

What things are manufactured in Alabama or have to be manufactured in a backwater state? Alabama and most of the rest of the South have long been ****holes; pretty sure they stopped being industrial powers after 1865. There are welders and people who build things in every state; not every one of those states promotes aggressive ignorance.

Pretty sure they're the world leading manufacturer of plaques with the 10 commandments on court houses.

And soon to be publicly known elected kid diddlers.

Roy Moore's actual political positions are way worse than these interactions with high school girls. In a sane world, he would already be disqualified for being insane.

But in Alabama world, it's the only reason Moore isn't a stone cold lock to win. Without this pedophilia albatross, Roy Moore is winning that state by 20 points.

I'll check but I'm fairly sure big U.S. cities haven't been rated as having the highest poverty in the developed world.

Roy Moore without the scandal would absolutely not be winning by 20 points. The last time he ran for statewide election he won by 4 points

That's about the polling margin now.

So that means that the scandal has had ~no effect on the race?
12-11-2017 , 12:13 AM
The polling average before the scandal was something like 10 points.

No. The last time he ran was in a presidential election year with Obama on the ballot. If he won by 4 then you would expect him to win by more in this special election. But either way, Moore probably aint winning by 20 unless the dem candidate is a pedophile, gets caught using the n word etc.

Their jobs "trickled out" of the country because of govt trade deals which are the opposite of free trade deals.

You guys don't like them because of their social/Christian leanings and their way of life. Wbich is fine, but you are making a critical error in thinking these people are dunderheads and stupid. They aren't. They have different interests, different skill sets, and different motivations in life. Their jobs got hijacked.

And you might think well, they are too stupid to compete for better jobs. No...because the types of jobs they do are CRITICAL to the survival of the United States.

Because like I said... and very few Econ nerds with their degrees will be able to tell you this...PURCHASING POWER COMES FROM PRODUCTION.

So dismiss them at your own peril. Because China... communist or not... is eating our lunch because they PRODUCE things.
Which previously banned poster is this?

Stop trying to pile falsehoods on top of falsehoods to make it sound like these people have made a logical, intelligent decision in their support of Trumpian nationalism.

Trade deals did not take their jobs. No one here doesn't like them because of their "Christian leanings" except when they use those leanings to justify hatred and bigotry. If they'd stop that, then no one would give a **** which stupid nonexistent deity they decided to worship.

China produces things much cheaper than we do, so unless your boys are gonna start accepting pennies per hour, that magical production isn't coming back. How about instead of fetishizing long lost days and voting for racist demagogues, they vote for the party actually trying to help them?

Right. Roy Moore under-performed Mitt Romney by 16 points in 2012. If he under-performs 2016 Trump by the same amount he'd win by 10
