Nothing on earth more reliably tilts me than interviews with Alabama voters.

in that case, if you haven't seen it yet, avoid the luntz/vice Alabama voter group at all costs.

Oh saw that already. Suffered through 20 mins of NPR deplorables this morning.

predictions?

I've got Moore winning by 6 points, because the world is bad and nothing good ever happens, especially in Alabama. also hoping by being as pessimistic as possible I can somehow reverse-jinx a miracle.

Honestly, I watched that before going to bed and got so het up I couldn't sleep for a while. Worst part was that women who wanted to blame Soros somehow for the Moore = sex predator thing.

Since Alabama has basically the same PVI as Tennessee, I'd make a generic Republican a ~2/1 favourite v. a generic Democrat in the current climate. But, Tennessee is significantly more "elastic" than Alabama, which the model doesn't account for. There's no way a generic Republican is only a 2/1 favourite in Alabama.
Alabama is not elastic at all. A generic Republican would be closer to a 15/1 favorite than a 2/1 favorite.

I really hope Jones wins, but I know a lot of people in Alabama, and not a single one thinks Jones is a flip.

Same.

If they really elect this clown I've sent my last $ to UA and most likely also stepped foot in the state for the last time...not that I really go up there much anymore anyway.

Gonna LMFAO if Toyota decides not to open their new production facility there. Be a shame if something like that happened.

if people could include actual links alongside embedded tweets that would be A+, embeds don't work for me for some reason, and seen other people mention it too.

Moore has lost the ironic left vote

Quote:
Fox & Friends’s Pete Hegseth is often dispatched to diners across the country to talk to “real Americans,” and the live interviews can sometimes yield amazing results.

After speaking with one very sober and measured Jones voter, Hegseth turned to this story’s hero, a young man by the name of “Webb.”

“If I wasn’t a far left, card-carrying member of the Democratic Socialists of America, I wouldn’t vote for Roy Moore,” Webb told Hegseth.

“Roy is a pedophile, and I don’t think he’s fit to be on an episode of Chapo Trap House, let alone the U.S. Senate.”

“You’re not mincing words,” Hegseth replied.

“Not at all,” our hero confirmed.

Just pure, unadulterated corruption from top to bottom.
12-12-2017 , 11:56 AM
Ah, so literally fixing the election was the back-up plan, I see.
12-12-2017 , 11:58 AM
What's a little state-sanctioned voter fraud when the alternative is not electing a pedophile? Desperate times, desperate measures.

Only hope at this point is SCOTUS and we can probably predict how that's gonna go.
