A sick amount of heavy underdogs won tonight, Green, Silva, Nog, and Vallie Flagg. Maia was up in the +200 range too.

I think the call was ok. Overeem dominated every aspect of the fight. I just don't know WhyTF he had his hands down and what was going on with his gameplan. It was like he wanted to humilate him before he beat him.

Rashad Evans gameplan was rubbish too. I was just about ready to make the blackzillians my stable for the year after their underperformance in 2012. I have no doubt their training level is among the best, but what is up with their game plans so far?? Just lucky i loaded up on overeem and aldo and didn't bet Evans because i didn't have cash left in the account that had a decent line on Evans.

I had a **** day. Didn't bet on Fitch but still was completely off, i thought Fitch would control where the fight was... wrong. Lil Nog may have looked boring but was impressive and is blackbooked for his next fight. Overeem was clearly better and the loss will give him more value next fight, i am a bit nervous about the blackzillians gameplans though.

I won back some on Aldo, Edgar was impressive as usual, more than i thought he would be. Aldo should have finished with legkicks in the 3rd but was too worried about getting taken down. I also think Edgar hurt Aldo surprisingly with legkicks in the 3rd which was the game changer. Edgar is blackbooked too, smart fight after the first 2 rounds and one dead leg. He just seems to get better and better every fight and may be the unluckiest mma fighter ever (i gave him rounds 3, 4 and 5).

Very interesting fights, i was lucky to come out of it with only a small loss.

Pettis just texted Dana. He wants Aldo at 145. Wow.

49-46 was pretty bad. Awful card overall imo. Evans just looked horrible and a huge LOL at Fitch complaining about someone laying on him for three rounds.

Did he really do that? Fitch?

Damage is not a one-round effect

Cuts, swelling, and tight joint locks end fights both by doctor’s stoppage and by impairing a fighter’s ability to perform. Those effects last the duration of the fight and should be scored as such, not just in the round in which they occur
fightmetrics personal scoring criteria. I guess i now understand why Aldo won the 5th round with 80~-40~

Also they had Edgar losing to Bendo 49-46. Maybe that's an accumulation they also felt should be scored in the 5th.

Kind of a crybaby at the moment. Leave Frankie Edgar alone!

+1!

and if kim winslow had been reffing this one, bigfoot might have still been pounding on him with her hanging on his back.

I scored it 48-47 Edgar but agree under 'pride rules' Aldo would have won. 48-47 Aldo is justifiable, 49-46 is not. Also, which lolworthy judge scored it for Tibau? I only saw rounds 2 and 3 but Dunham very clearly won both rounds.

I hope they set up JDS/Overeem now, both are coming off losses and they hate each other.

Bigfoot gets Struve/Hunt winner, Werdum gets Cain if he wins the Big Nog fight and JDS/Overeem in a grudge match where hopefully JDS can knock him out brutally to get back on a winning path and start the road towards the eventual JDS/Cain rubber match somewhere down the line

48-47 aldo is perfectly fine, It's about how you score the third which seems like a 50/50 fight. No robbery for sure.

But to score the fifth for Aldo, and for fightmetric to score it lopsided is incredibly lol. No wonder though with their criterias. Edgars nosebleed ticked and ticked during the fifth and apparently scored points. Also the legkicks Aldo landed in the 2nd apparently also counts in the fifth.
lol fightmetric.

good night.

jeff collins.

fwiw, he also judged the main event and was the one that scored it 48-47.

I have been absurdly busy lately, hope to start doing picks again for the next card. Couldn't quite get it done this time which is a shame as while I haven't checked the whole card, Aldo over Edgar would have been 2 star.

Agree with previous comments, Pride rules Aldo wins, boxing rules Edgar gets it, can't complain too much either way though.

Doesn't anyone else think Nog was impressive? I rate Evans pretty high and it just amazes me how sharp nog was. Evans had nothing for him, it just felt like if anyone was going to get caught with a shot it would be Evans

Just wanted to add, if Overeem's loss means Dos Santos v Overeem next, than i am happy to donate all the money i did today

The sick thing is, Edgar could easily have won all 3 of his last 3 fights. Bendo 1 is either way whatever, so is Aldo, and Bendo 2 was clearly for Edgar. He's pretty unlucky to have gone 0/3 in decisions there

Snap bet JDS to -250 imo vs Overeem. His lights are getting turned out at some stage when JDS connects.

This, because you just put 3x that amount on JDS, unfortunately we won't be getting the gift -160 price or whatever it was before that I was ready to unload on.

Agreed w/ Nick that the standup on Maia/Fitch was about as bad as it gets, and I had a unit on Fitch.

WRT to not scoring takedowns it used to say "a clean reversal is equal to a clean takedown." Forgot tho, they actually rewrote the rules recently and it now says effective grappling is: takedowns to mount, guard passes to mount, and threatening subs from the guard.

Sick hit to the dude who had all those dogs parlayed at 80 to 1 or whatever. Also heard Bigfoot was available at like 60 to 1 or some such going into third.

Silva trying to get in bitchass Overeem's face after he starched him was pretty sweet, reminded me of Lesnar after he destroyed Mir. All in all though, a mediocre card from a fan perspective that was saved by a great Main Event. Betting wise, did pretty awful here mainly due to Fitch and Overeem. Feel fine about backing Fitch even tho he got pooped on, just overestimated him and underestimated Maia's takedown abilities tho I've always thought they were decent. Acceptable mistake given what we knew going in but man I wish I had stuck with my distrust of ole Roidereem. Never bought that he was on the top level of JDS and Cain, just thought he would be good enough to beat Silva who gets dropped by everyone, seemed like a great style match for him sigh.

I actually think Overeem would be the value versus Dos Santos, especially now
