WTF is going on tonight? Did 80% of the Stars PLO player pool randomly decide to take the night off or something? There's a total of 6 normal or deep 6max PLO games at 1/2+. Pretty f'd up for a Saturday night.

One good thing about going on worst run in your life in limit holdem, is the bad run doesnt necessarily transfer to games you suck at.

Whats tilting about this hand is not that this guy obvioussly has the skills to sniff out successful backdoors, its that he still has 20% equity on the flop with no pair and only BD 2 pair/trips or straight.

Standard because of his PFmin raise + weak flop bet + board texture so I take pots down like that enough % of the time?

Or standard haha lets trick limit holdem player to play bad..
Or standard as in sarcastic standard; spew your brains off in horrible spot all PLO players do it standard?

I think you'd have more success with check potting a 223 rainbow flop than this flop.

im after spending like 15k on rent for the summer and ran that much below ev in the 9k hands i've played this month. ( almost all of it at 5/10 bcose 5/10 is the devil).

ps. i'm wayyyyyy too poor to spunk that month on rent i just did it anyway.

1/2 and 2/4 for me for a while if i can stick to it that is. hadn't played 1/2 since late november so f tilting to have to move back down there. so hard for me to care though atm tbh i really just don't give a **** about poker lately.

this was my starting table for the 5k plo event today, pretty ridiculous...

1. trex313
2. boostedj
3. southside1
4. robert mizrachi
5. pbjaxx
6. marcin horecki
7. older german guy that looked familiar and played very solid
8. some random old guy

I literally didn't make so much as a pair the first 3 hours but still maintained a decent stack until the following hand came up. boostedj had been 3betting Rob a lot in position and did so on a hand when I looked down at AKK5ds in the bb. I don't typically think it's good to get a lot of chips committed preflop in plo tourneys, but I could 4 bet most of my stack and I was so far ahead of his range that I didn't think I had a choice. He tanked and called leaving me like 1200 behind or something. A76 flop, he turns over AT89 and binks a 5ball on the turn. gg me

I think this is usually a really dangerous line of thinking in tournies, although I would agree with you in a particularly soft field. You have to get extremely lucky to win a tourney and making EV errors on the passive side is not going to change that, just defer it.

Anyway you played it fine. Sounds like a pretty worthless table.
